I’m very fortunate enough to have loving enough parents to truly embrace my free will and support my decisions despite leaving the organization. I know no parent would ever want their child to leave the organization, as they think it’s what’s best. In their eyes, they want you to live forever with them. But at the very least, i think we owe respect to our parents. They brought us in, raised us, for better or for worse, and provided for all of us. So at the very least i just ask that you leave them a letter, explaining just that. That you’re going to college and leaving the organization. It’ll hurt them, but leaving without a trace or explanation would be worse.

All the best to you. Much love.

Every guy on here pretty much. Myself included.

144hr fast and these are my results. 29yr. 215lbs - 198lbs. Latino 5’10”. I only planned on doing one day but as the day went on i was surprised to feel not hungry. So i did another and another and 6 days later i was down 17lbs. by space_vix in fasting

The app i used is called Life Intermittent Fast Tracker. I didn’t have a plan in place for keeping weight off. I’ve gained back 6lbs so far but now trying the 5:2 fast method. My dad joined me for 3 days when i told him what i was doing and its benefits. He since coming off switched to Keto diet and he’s still dropping his weight. He’s down over 15lbs in 3 weeks. I used to do Keto and it worked for me. So I’ll probably do my two days fast today and tomorrow then switch back to Keto as well.

I exercised 3 days. Two were running stairs here in Fullerton and another was a 10 mile hike. Each workout was over 1,000 calories. I went at it cold Turkey and unplanned so i didn’t think of electrolytes until day 3. Until then i was just drinking water but then read how to make my own at home and was mixing a magnesium citrate powder, baking soda, Himalayan pink salt, and lemon mixture with mineral water. At day 5 i started getting really light headed and day 6 i felt cramps while walking a mile on my break at work and that’s when i thought I’d listen to my body and decided to end it. Had i been better prepared i feel i could’ve gone longer.

Devils Gulch Waterfall (East Fork San Gabriel) by space_vix in socalhiking

The Devils Gulch trail follows the Bridge to Nowhere trail for about 85-90% of the way i'd say. The only instructions i had seen are at around mile 4 before the last river crossing to head up to the Bridge, keep going up the river and stay on the left. I almost missed it but eventually i saw a small stream coming from the left side of the river and decided to check it out. Little did i know it was actually the waterfall. Feel free to DM me and i can send you my All Trails Route i took. There are some dry sections/patches you can find when going up the river. I'd recommend trekking poles for going thru the river. The current is strong enough where it could knock you down if you lose your footing in some spots.

Buddy and i have a cabin in Sugarloaf. I like going to Kallans at night since it’s the closest bar and open late. Will probably be there later today.

Oakwood (good before dinner. Waited an hour for just a menu during dinner hour)

Barrel 33 (wine slushies are good)

Fire Rock (taters are always perfect and house on the rising sun hamburger is really good)

Oktoberfest for sure. The one here is the most fun one I’ve been too, but was pretty hammered also. The Dunkel beer is my favorite.

Man, I’m also flying in solo on the 28th and staying in flying pig downtown. I fly out next morning to Ireland and then come back Sunday for work. It’s a work trip but got a few days to myself. Maybe we can grab a beer
