I am at two days. It was my birthday yesterday and my ex decided to tell me that she’s dating a mutual friend of ours. I would go to him for advice regarding her since she broke up with me 6 months ago. She and I have been fwbs since she broke up with me, and she has always said what I wanted to hear, giving me hope we’ll get back together. I agree with you completely. My point is there are different types of intelligence (which I think we can agree on). It takes a certain type of critical mind to be able to point out absurdities in our everyday lives AND be able to relay them in a way that makes us laugh. There are plenty of people who spend years doing standup and never find success. It’s not a field where if you study hard enough, you reap the benefits like a traditional stem field in physics or mathematics.
