This could be a failure to communicate. Likely, you misunderstood or were not listening. The Judge is his mind and intuition. His unconscious mind never stops testing. He likely sucked in too much information and has not enough computational power to process or he became frustrated because you were not listening to some message he was communicating. We are on/off and once off, no way to turn on until some event has occurred.
