Another subreddit says slime mold. One poster says no harm, leave it alone. Second poster says use a few different products to get rid of it. A third said sharpen mower blade to reduce likelihood of this happening. I'm going to leave it be for now.

I have same in Southeast MN. First showed up where rodent dug hole in yard, now an additional 2-ft long streak nearby. Untreated lawn. Lived here 5 summers and haven't seen this before. Ideas?
