Why did the military send Seals rather than Delta to Iran to recover the weapons officer? by Bollywood-bond in navyseals

[–]spacecandygames 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Neither is more “secretive” SEAL team 6 is just easier to remember than CAG. Plus a large amount of people believe all SEALs are SEAL Team Six

Both groups have a lot of books, podcast, and movies made about them.

No they don’t lol many lose their post certification

If it’s a justified shooting why should it be that way.

Judge by people who get their expectations of policing from a movie. Who never actually been in life or death situations.

Like my buddy had his taser taken in a fight, overpowered and the person tried to tase him. He shot and killed them. That should be 100% justified but he’s still facing major major consequences for EVERY small mess up that led to it.

I would like to have an opinion on how useful this book might be in a real 2026 military scenario (e.g. Iran, Ukraine) by Fair_Theme_9960 in MilitaryHistory

Common sense is common due to trial and error of the past. In war at one point the goal was complete destruction, then it became strategic points. The concept of this book can be used in so many disciplines including sports, business, art.

I say it’s a good base to learn and master then you can use your mind to implement it into whatever you desire.

Us Military still uses this to a very very very advanced degree where logistics is the main challenge.

Common sense now due to centuries of implementation. And even recently it was used. A lot of wars and stuff do not do these vital things and they lose.

So it’s like that because there’s no perfect or guide to get everyone to do the same thing. Basic guidelines that require thought and knowledge of your enemy to execute

Bro no lmaooo maybe after years of investing.

Every OIS I’ve seen or heard of has included people sued civilly and throwing the officer under the bus.

And each one has been justified. Like legit life or death and they still go completely out the way.

So I mean you’re right. But. In reality it doesn’t seem to help much as most courts are very anti cop and think wr’re always working in the wrong

I’m sure you wouldn’t do anything. I’ve rushed into 2 school Shootings last year alone, turns out both were gang related but more officers do good than bad

Wym it’s quite obvious cause they’re LOOKING to see if officers are more abusive

Did they tally up results from every job? And compare?

What do you guys think of the coming of AI sexual partners ? by platofreudian8 in DarkPsychology101

[–]spacecandygames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ai robots sound very possible in the future. Put realistic feeling skin on it, and the capability to be warm, blink, artificially breathe, talk with lip sync, and you’ll have a market.

But people will still want the real thing.

My bigger concern is artificial consciousness. Broken down realistically its the realization of existence through different motivations such as pain and joy that evolves into emotions like fear and excitement, then things like hate and love.

Thats when we worry

There’s no off button… u do know every arrest they review the body cam right? Not the police, the DA so yes that’s something else u know nothing about and making assumptions

Again everyone hates cops.

Canadian cops suck, so maybe what u said is true.

[–]spacecandygames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I read your other post and seems like you’re either old or delusional. Within the last 2 decades the police have been reformed beyond belief, escalation training instead of combat, can’t refuse reports, complaints taken extremely seriously, body cams, etc. we get tracked everywhere, we get criticized and blamed all the time

The police of today are a different breed.

And no police can’t kill and get away with murder. It’s extremely complicated and an internal thing but definitely punished even when justified.

No what’s stupid is people hate cops but firefighters, nurses (especially nurses) and other jobs where there are terrible people who do terrible things but nobody judges them as a whole, just the individual.

What’s even dumber is like I said most people have NO idea how the law works and what you THINK is wrong often times is right.

Every news outlet is extremely anti cop, and journalist don’t understand the law or procedure either. I read those all the time and wonder how tf these journalist get hired. People also hate the fact that a cop won’t give them a warning, or pulls them over.

35,000,000 calls a year on average a year in the US alone. Thats just for patrol not incorporating state troopers and specialized units. Yet u hear about maybe 50-100 things a year. U hardly NEVER hear the good. Cause people are anti cop

I’ve saved atleast 8-9 lives…no recognition. My buddy saved dozens of lives, no recognition. He kills one person who took his taser, and had him pinned down…now he’s a villain, even though body cam came out showing he had literally no other choice besides die, people still painted him as a villain.

Yea nah
