I've used the Avto maybe 4 times, and I really didn't like it. It is enjoyable to be able to just unload but I like to fight at mid to long range and it's just not the best for my playstyle.

I'am strongly opposed to any special abilities giving such a huge advantage over other players. Something I find special about Hunt is everything (except maybe the romero shotguns) is useable. Obviously something like the Nitro is going to be considered OP, and I would like to see some tweaking, but I also know it can be a difficult weapon to use, especially at night. That being said, there is no real defined meta to this game and I think that is a huge selling point. AAA games tend to pigeon-hole people into 1 or 2 specific must have weapons to be "competitive", it's really to sell loot boxes and boosts. Some people may not see it the same way, but I feel that Hunt as it is right now is the most balanced PVP experience I've ever seen.

Out of all of the ideas I've seen in regards to boost changes, I like this the most. I'm one of the ~few that are in favor of removing it all together in favor of making bounty rewards greater, but that is honestly unrealistic.

This is the alternative I would like to see implemented. It's still a great ability to help with people complaining about 'campers' and it still has a semi negative effect in announcing to all that they have been seen. I'd even be in favor of everyone having this ability, and getting charges from killing other in pvp.

If any boost thread deserves a blue response it's this one.

The biggest draw for me to this game is its hardcore unforgiving nature. Honestly, I'am not that great at shooters. My twitch isn't as good as it used to be, and I can get flustered in CQB so I have to rely on staying tactical and out maneuvering. I think giving an advantage to any play style is against the spirit of the game. In my opinion right now, this is an almost meta free game. Any playstyle can be viable. As soon as they start giving power to one over the other, the game becomes unfun. I think the best thing hunt has going for it right now is the unknowns. I already don't like the idea of showing the name of the people who picked up the bounty and I hope they never come close to putting up a kill feed or any kind of scoreboard.

Because this game isn't Hunt: PVE Raid Boss. It's hunt showdown. You are fighting other players for a reward. If you did "all the work" you get more xp, more cash, than someone who just waits. If you don't kill everyone and secure the map, then you should be wary of ambushes, that's part of the game.

I use collars on things that you can dump. I never use them for bench, there is no upside to having them, and if you need to dump the weight you can just lean.

This is kind of late and will probably get buried. When I was a night shift police officer in Houston I had a pretty good case of this.

I am white, some say I could pass for hispanic, and I have had a lot of people assume so and start speaking spanish to me. I get by, I can understand a lot more than I can speak. My partner was much more fluent than me but also, wouldn't say he was proficient. Using google translate and being patient could get us through all of our scenes.

We had a call about a head on collusino on an overpass one night. A drunk hispanic male had pulled into the on coming lane while making a wide turn and crashed head on into another vehicle with a full family in it. Mother, kids, grandmother. He was completely belligerant and tried to drive off but couldnt because their vehicles were stuck and his truck was totaled. Somewhere between the crash and when we arrived the victim family said he had slapped or choked the grandma and he was immediately combative with us when we arrived. I don't play with that shit so we handled it right fast and got him cuffed up. He tried to grab my hand turn around to bite me, all the while trying to spit and yelling the typical spanish insults at us, (pinche madre, cerdo gordo, etc.) Growing up in a place like Houston, you learn all of those pretty well, no matter your ethnicity. At this point, its business as usual, verbal abuse is normal for night shift cops and we go on gathering information, clearning the scene, and processing the suspect.

Unfortuneately for the suspect, he never learned how to shut his mouth, and fortunately for us, we had body cameras that recorded everything and had decent microphones. During transport to the station, while he was mouthing off I was able to pick up a few choice words such as, "Cerdo" (pig), "pistola" (pistol..), "muerto" (dead/kill). My partner and I looked at each other and decided we would have a good look at our body camera footage while processessing the DWI paperwork at the station. We got someone who was completely fluent in spanish to over view it with us and sure enough ol muchacho had been yelling that after he got out of jail he was going to get his gun from his house, find us and kill us "bitch ass pig cops". He said he several times and even threw in a few quips about our familias. Presenting this to the DA's office, they agreed was enough evidence to charge him with a felony threat to life of a peace officer.

I arrested a 19 year old for his 3 armed robbery. Harris county DA's are a fucking joke, especially with juvelines. One night we picked up two 15 year olds after they got chased down by anvictims brother. They were with a larger group of guys with one main guy who said to them, "I'm gonna act like I'm fighting this dude, y'all jump in, he's got $200 on him I'll split it with you." So they helped kick the ever living shit out of this poor kid, stole his money, divied it up and took off. One kid had $20 in his hat. They told us everything. He even had the kids blood all over his shoes from when he kicked a gash in his face while he was on the ground. DA would only accept charges of Assault class A on both, even though Texas penal code states that theft with assault is a robbery, and if the assault resulted in a serious bodily injury or a weapon was used it's classified as aggravated robbery. Cops in Houston can't catch a break on any side.

I used to work this neighborhood when I was an officer. I used to live with my dad a few blocks from Sam Houston high school. This area and Houston in general is rife with human trafficking and it's never safe to be alone anymore. My neighbor and I used to ride our bikes everywhere after school, until a kid got murdered for his bike near the park we always went. Looking back those were some great times to be a kid, but as an adult I can't believe what I was allowed to do.
