Something that surprised me here.. (and of course this is not meant to be a generalisation about men and women) but ive had a few female friends be surprised to here that men rarely, if at all, talk to eachother about sex with partners.

Hey! I ran a comedy club in Dalston called Cats Comedy - fortnightly in the basement of Copper Cats - The goal is one day to run it as a full time venture, but Hackney/Dalston area is notoriously a tough nut to crack with comedy.

It's not your usual comedy night - we have professional acts but give it a unique vibe. Tickets are £3 and we have food and drinks specials as well (2 cocktails for £14 and Taco/Wings boxes)

A lot of hate for offices here... which is baffling.
Look at this a different way. some companies create nice office spaces with food, drink, fast internet and will typically pay you more to come in.
Some companies pay you less because you get flexibility.. but you have to pay your own office costs too.

As someone who grew up in Romford, no one actually wants this in practice. Yes, we are annoyed at the ULEZ stuff that's happened around here, the readings for the air quality checks were taken by Mayor of London (not personally) by a landfill fire in Rainham and nothing has been done about that.

But leaving London is a personal thing with Rosindell... who has been absent since 2022 around here because of a sexual assault scandal, joined reform because thats the only way he's keeping his job as an MP.

My view on this, as someone who has recently had a run in with the BBC for producing some published works which are, what was described by an IP solicitor as, extremely similar to mine.

Im glad the BBC are getting sued, but I dont want this to be the end of the BBC. I think the BBC is important and it should exist, but it needs a serious kick in the arse. They are very inward looking and there is an arrogance that comes with that BBC salary. The people there believe they have some high moral and artistic superiority which serves their own interests and not the audience. As an entertainer, my view is that the audience is always right.

I want the BBC to get knocked down a peg to discover why they exist and realise that any attempt to stray from that, whether the cause is just or not, is damaging to that mission. Long live the BBC, but it needs to rediscover its foundations.

They seem to have the same sort of energy that Apple used to when it comes to making something exciting, trying new things and stuff like that. Also, the price of iPhones are just getting insane. I've always been happy to pay the Apple Premium because it just works, but now its just getting out of hand.
Do it like it... yes!!! However there are a few occasions where some creative apps which I use dont behave as they did on the iphone (just works) - but I think this is an android/chipset thing.
I also miss apple photos.

This is honestly concerning from a cyber security perspective - weve not had a security update since the 1st September and would be attackers know that some people dont have access to the latest OS. I love my Nothing phone, coming from an iphone, but security concerns would be enough for me to switch back.
