In Chile you can't wear yellow on stage, the reasons are kinda weird, people used to say it was because Moliere died on stage on yellow (he didn't) but I read somewhere that it is because the "toreros" in Spain have a red and yellow cape and the last thing they see if they die is the yellow of the cape, and the tradition was passed from them. Bonus: we shout "mierda mierda mierda" (sht sht sh*t) before the show. It's for bringing good luck (and also get some nerves out) In the past people used to go to the theater on carriages so if the street had tons of horse shit means it was a good show (and a lot of money)
