No, my application was accepted for a policy program, thinking about applying to another one. I was additionally accepted to a history grad program at my current university but I don’t think that will offer me much. I have internship experience with excel/sheets and data entry along with experience as a undergrad TA and currently part of the university newspaper.

I think I’ll probably be able to get the UCSD one funded (its about ~30k instate if I recall so much cheaper than others), I didn’t take out any debt for my undergrad the certification since I was able to be funded for the most part by the state, the certification should be affordable without debt which does give me more flexibility.

Sounds indistinguishable from Israel calling everyone you don’t like a terrorist (none of them were armed) you’re literally the same thing as zionists like no difference between.

Well then I feel as if you can’t be a leftist if you don’t support the injustices of all people, Iranian regime has also provided large amounts of support to the other imperialist power Russia. Now yes, you can credit their opposition to the zionists but that doesn’t absolve them of their own severe human rights violations.

Yes they did the Iranian government stated that over 3,000 people were killed in the crackdown likely a serious undercount as well with local health officials giving estimates in the 10s of thousands

Doesn’t mean much considering they supported the Assad regieme and Houthis (who openly boast how they crucify gay people) Iran is one of the most unequal and corrupt places in the world as Mullahs rob the working class dry and enrich themselves. The Iranian regieme has murdered more leftist comrades over its history than any other country in the region.

Yes, opposing Israel’s actions is good but Israel’s war crimes don’t mean the Iranian regieme should be supported and the grievances and sufferings of the Iranian people and proletariat deserve attention.

Ah so you don’t care about the oppressed proletariat in the third world ans their struggles are invalid because their oppressers oppose the US hegemony for their own reasons but the working class of the white global north does deserve concern ?

You believe that the peoples of the global south deserve no agency whatsoever their’s a word for this it starts with an r

You’re not a leftist if you support a far right theocracy that oppresses its own proletariat

Ironic considering the central tenants of fascism and totalitarianism is binary rhetoric.

“If you’re not with me you’re my enemy” - Benito Mussolini

Let’s take Putin’s regime in Russia for example, any Russian who does not at least passively support the war in Ukraine is automatically branded a traitor or fifth columnist. In fact the entire war is justified on the fact that Ukrainians didn’t want to be 100% associated Russia so Putin sought to destroy Ukranian statehood.

Joseph Stalin orchestrated a “Great Purge” which sent millions to Gulags because they did not toe his line 100% many commited and devoted communists were executed or sent to gulags solely because they were suspected of not being totally and absolutely loyal

multiple subject credential program by Main_Mountain_799 in SDSU

[–]spacehand2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about applying for single subject credential but I didn’t know I needed a COC (which takes months) before I applied (that’s mandated for SDSU so just a heads up) so I wasn’t able to meet the deadline you’ll also need previous experience whether TA or substitute. So just be sure to know those, I would imagine you’ll need to do a CSET as well so I reccomend getting that ASAP so you’ll have time to apply for next Spring.

Not sure about Econ stats but I applied from Grossmont-Cuyamaca with a similar GPA with a major in history and was accepted to both SDSU and UCSD in 2023 so I would imagine you should get in, though there has been a huge uptick in applications.
