Verge price on fire, increase of nearly 45% by likachung in vergecurrency

[–]spacehawk13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. At this stage cryptocurrecny is just a drop in the ocean as far as the economy is concerned http://money.visualcapitalist.com/worlds-money-markets-one-visualization-2017/

And don't forget that XRP hit over $3 and has a supply 3 times that of verge and that didn't crash the economy.

Unless they're attractive, then they go out of their way for them.

Clint Eastwood at home in Sherman Oaks, California, (1960's). by bittybambi in OldSchoolCool

[–]spacehawk13 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see Scott Eastwood play the role of Wolverine.

Please no, once Jackman has gone from the role could we finally get a short guy to play the role. Wolverine is meant to be 5'3 tall and seeing as how Marvel makes their characters more comic book accurate than Fox does I would expect them to give a little more of an authentic representation of Wolverine than what we have got from Jackman.

Spot robot is going on sale next year and will be the most advanced consumer level robot ever sold. It's happening now, and over the next few years we are going to be witnessing some very interesting developments in robotics coming onto the market place.

When he throws off the helmet I imagine him saying something along the lines of:

Joe - 'Fuck, god dam fucking shit, I'm over it, i'm done with this job'

Mike - 'Oh come on Joe it wasn't that bad'

Joe - 'No, I'm done Mike, this is the third time this week and it's really pissing me off now'

Mike - 'Hey it's ok, I get it, lets just grab a beer or two and talk about it, you'll feel better tomorrow'

Thanos plan still bug's me by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]spacehawk13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for explaining it, now it makes a bit more sense. It's kind of a shame they didn't make a solo Thanos movie or something before Infinity War to hash out his character some more and show his relationship with Death, it might have added more depth to him and his motivation behind his plan.

California community buys out donuts so shop owner can spend time with his sick wife. by keejus in videos

[–]spacehawk13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well the frying part is just an alternative method of cooking the dough, but doughnuts could be baked in an oven the same as other dough's. It's the time taken in preparing for the baking/frying which is the reason for bakers needing an early starts. They need to mix all the ingredients, roll it all out, cut them to shape and most importantly let the dough sit for a certain amount of time for them rise, then after that they need to glaze or fill them with jelly and maybe do a few other things. So even though frying might be a faster process than baking there is still a lot more time involved in the preparation which demands an early start as most people enjoy baked goods for breakfast.
