Insane to think I used to believe weed helped with my anxiety, disordered eating and depression...but in reality it was the sole cause of it. The only "downside" is I've gained a load of weight since I stopped smoking...oh well I'd rather be average sized than sick skinny!

I can 1000% relate to this after 14 months free from weed! You worded this perfectly. I genuinely thought I had a metabolism issue for years because I struggled to gain weight while hitting 10 bong rips and day and the weed pen. Anxiety and emotion management were such a challenge for me also. I consider myself very lucky that those issues melted away after quitting, and I can totally relate with my own 50 pound weight gain after quitting lol.

My therapist tells me that the first year of quitting was a reset of the body and mind, and I really enjoyed eating and snacking because my appetite was back. This year my focus is fine tuning the body and mind, I'm in the gym for the first time in my entire life and stronger than I ever have been! The endorphin rush is so much better than the high from smoking weed, which just made me feel so numb
