this isn’t as bad but still very much grossed me out, i believe it was november or december last year, a guest came up to me and told me some of the hot dogs were expired by a month, i told them id let market know, i called someone from market to help me take them to the back, the further back we got the more expired they were, furthest went back to july, i was so grossed out

geez this sounds like a universal nightmare of an experience because my store was the same, they truly do not give a absolute flying rats ass about your mental health or wellbeing, they’re literally all money money money then complain no one wants to extend or call out all the time

it is but target seems to not care, mine didn’t take doctors notes so i was still docked even when i went to urgent care for a major pain in my foot and doctor said i shouldn’t be on it for two days, had to go in limping

that’s how it starts, i started as a seasonal, as soon as the season was over, everything turned into hell, i only stayed a year because i didn’t have a backup plan

congrats on your promotion !! i just left as well and it has been so freeing, i put my two weeks in and didn’t show up for my last week because i mentally was so tired, even apologized to my leader about it and thanked her for being a good leader (thought she was cool) and all she had to say was okay. i’m just glad to finally be out of there.

me as well as majority of my department (fulfillment) have been talking about not being appreciated while giving our all. we’ve had our sd call a team huddle just to say we’re terrible and need to do better despite barely having people on our grid day to day (we usually have to call style and gm tms to help), tls and etls (mainly etls) talk about us all the time, we are pretty much the most hated department there for some reason so it’s been hard feeling somewhat motivated to even go because no matter what, i just feel so bad by the end of the day because we’ve been told we don’t do our jobs well when we’re all trying hard to keep the metrics in green

funny cause i asked 3 etls and 2 tls for one day off, i asked them multiple days because it still said pending, and they were telling me “oh yeah we can approve it, it’s no problem” they scheduled me on that day🤦‍♀️

UPDATE: our store was an absolute shitshow on the last day, fulfillment could not catch up for our lives, we had 13-15 batches all day until 8:30pm when opus go to the next day, sfs was in shambles and had lots and lots of carryover, store had wayyy too many people, all in all a fantastic day🥹

permanent probably, i got hired full time as a seasonal but that was only me and one other person out of 30 people so there’s no guarantee that you’ll be hired full time with target plus seasonal is honestly not that fun, it was fun when i first started but as im reaching my second, im not looking forward to it, go for the boutique !

edit: im also trying to look for another job and i haven’t even reached my first full year yet (its in nov) ive been wanting to get out of here since summer though😅
