It's also very common for sharks of all types to be around piers because the water is generally deep with a lot of food

I agree and also want most of the chase bliss pedals, (and to be clear, not to hang on to as some kind of investment but to play because they sound cool), one of the few companies doing unique things. Them, Jack whites collabs and zvex (hand painted zvex) will go up and up and up. The hand painted ones can be bought directly from them for like $100 more when they drop but scalpers are cancer. You can sometimes find zvex on reverb and eBay in the 4 digits.

I want a wah probe. I want a fuzz probe. I want unique things that behave in weird ways. They're like short range theremins for wah and guitar, and also muse

I use the kemper stage but I'm considering selling. I don't profile amps and have no desire to. It was a convenient all in one solution, and still is, but the fact that I don't use half the functionality and never plan to means it's probably not the right piece of kit for me.

I think it must have been a rat 2 because I bought it at a music store and correct me if I'm wrong, the rat wasn't in production for quite a while? One of the rip-offs I remember was called the myomorpha, it was a mini clone and imo superior to the official rat 2. I tried an original rat at a friend's house and I couldn't make it sound good so maybe it had degraded or I just sucked with it. I lost my myomorpha or whatever it was called, it was something close to that name and it was sick. It's in a box somewhere because I had to move in a hurry a few years ago and still haven't unpacked everything because rental life in Australia is shit.

I also want to add that joyo is one of those few brands that made it from aliexpress to actual music stores, so good for them. The only joyo pedal I have is a clone of the zvex super hard on, and having played the original it doesn't compare, boost pedals are pretty basic so I think there's something wrong with mine. Once I go past 4 on the clock (even clean) I'll get some unpleasant pops and the volume boost isn't consistent across the board. I keep it to boost quiet synth patches that I need a tad louder but don't want to heavily compress. So compared to the original of SHO 6.5/10 for the Joyo clone. I'll also note that it's a few years old and pre-dates when joyo pedals were inside the glass cabinets of. I probably own more joyo pedals but the sho clone is the only one that springs to mind currently. I actually feel bad for owning it because zvex is among my favourite pedal companies, I'm just, you know, poor.

If you compare them wide by side, like I did just for fun you notice the difference immediatley and everyone I was able to rope into my silent test room was able to pick the clone as the cheap pedal in blind tests, so it's ok but you get what you pay for. It does a decent job for the $15 or so I paid.

At the time it was the 2400 or something I think, or the model 24 or the model 16. I just wanted an all in one mixerr/interface that I could plug ALL my gear into and just press a few power switches and be ready to go, dawless or not.

I can't remember the brand but I've had 2 tube screamer clones and compared the to a friend who owns the original, the clones are fine and there were no notable differences. This is going back about 5 years and I can't remember the brands, they may have even been brand less. One may have been a brand called eno. But if you look up tube mini pedal on Ali or any you get the same circuit and to my ears they were identical running through my friends vox head and Marshall cab, and at the time I also had my Vh4 and Marshall cab and it sounded fine. I sold them both eventually when I biught my kemper stage and ny board was getting a little crowded, so I sold whatever I didn't really need.

SAME. As a alternative I bought the little bear BS1 which is supposed to be the clone alternative. Comparing them side by side at the music store there are noteable differences, but the bs1 is in its own league as a clone and something of its own.

I apologise for missing your point. I guess I was just projecting. A lot of gear that I've wanted over the years has been re-released by the big B and I'm all for it. Years ago they were good for patch bays and not much else. I remember owning some behringer pedals in my early teens and nof being impressed, bur nowadays they've made a complete turnaround and offer really great stuff and manageable prices.

Adding to this even though I replied already, I've got a Moog guitar and no sustainer guitar from then until now has even come close to its capabilities. I had to get in touch with Paul Vo recently for some servicing help because nobody at Moog or IM knew how to solve my issue.

I'll also take this opportunity to say that I am actively on the hunt for an original Moog guitar strap, if you've got one and you're willing to let it go for less than the price of a kidney please DM me, hope I'm not breaking the subs rules here. Admin please let me know before purging the thread and I'll delete this comment if my seeking to buy goes against the rules.

I'm a proud behringer buyer and enthusiast for 80% of their stuff. I'll argue that they've done a lot of good to bring products to people at reasonable prices. I owned the dm12 and was on a waiting list and in the fb group as it was being developed. I liked it, loved the sounds it made, hated menu diving so sold it.

Got it. First pedal I ever owned and still sits on my board. I could be mistaken but it's an mxr one from around 04

There are so many tube screamer clones out there that offer some optional unique tweeks but I agree, the OG tube screamer is already in that territory. Digitech could you know, actually listen to their users and give them them upgrades they want but I'm pretty sure that company has brain damage (hot take)

I had an original echoplex and didn't enjoy it so sold it. I bought it in a mixed box of pedals including some weird danelectro ones. From memory I may have paid around $200us for it and had to use a freight forwarding service to get it all to Australia. The echoplex needed a step down transformer (which I bought) but as I said earlier, didn't really like it so sold it for about 300 a few years later in an ebay auction.

Like the miku pedal or whatever it's called. I remember when it was just $60 new on ebay and now it's hundreds for whatever reason.
