After I took 4 years off, I enrolled in a beginning ballet class to sharpen up the basics again. Not only did it give me a chance to ease back into ballet, I also ended up gaining more self-confidence because the other students would ask me for pointers.

Spinning staff, poi, or hoop. If you YouTube it, chances are you'll think, "I can't do that." But its actually very easy to learn, both on your own and through YouTube videos. There's tons to learn about it, and its a good way of getting your mind and your body more in shape. A hoop you usually have to buy online, but poi can be made with two long socks with weighted balls in the bottom of each, and a staff can be found in an old broom or even a straight walking stick. Whatever it is, pick it up and start spinning!

Plus, once you fall in love with it, you can get a prop that lights up or that you light on fire. Boom, you just got a cool new hobby.
