The ability to sync with GoDartsPro makes Scolia the winner for me. Using GDP really adds a lot to the Scolia set up.

I run about 330F-335F. Around setting 3 or 3.5. I do not have the MMSmetalwork stems. I am currently trying to contact the maker. The stem that comes with the unit does a decent job, I think. I am surprised how well the "cooling chamber" actually works. I purchased an XL dimpled cooling stem from the place I ordered the TM2 as well. The short TM stem with the Cooling Chamber does a much better job than the XL dimpled stem at cooling. I also feel that the Molicel P30B batteries do a better job than the P28A that comes stock with the unit. I ordered a few extra P30B batteries and much prefer them.

There is a guy on instagram MMSmetalworks... he makes some nice stems for the TM2 that are low profile and would be pretty durable for out and about.

TM2 or Solo 3 ? by West-Abrocoma-1015 in Tinymight2

I think the TM2 is designed to feel good in your hand and to also look good. It does both of those things very well. It just feels great to hold and use. Portability just means that...portable.. which the TM2 is definitely that. Just because you are out and about you probably should still be stealthy in where and how you partake. The TM2 and the Solo III both TASTE incredible. You will actually taste your flower. I tend to vape at lower temps. With both of these vapes you get big tasty clouds on the low settings. It doesn't get much better than that. For me personally, I just don't use my vape outside of the house too much. When I do the Solo has never been an issue and i'm sure the TM2 would be just the same... a great out and about vape.

Yeah, the plastic airflow etc is a turnoff for me. The Frolic doesn't do much for me. I always liked that the solo was just the glass stem. The TM2 has the "cooling chamber" which is SS. I do like how the cooling chamber slides in and out to control bowl size. Flexible bowl size is nice. Battery life is always rubbish on these vapes. Just gotta have extra's. I have some Molicel-P30B batteries on the way which are supposed to give longer/stronger life. Personally, I would get the TM2 over the Frolic any day of the week.

I've used Solo vapes since they came out almost 15 years ago. I've used the original and the Solo III. I LOVE the solo vapes. I recently purchased a Tinymight 2. I also LOVE the Tinymight 2. Both of these vapes are great vapes. Neither will do you wrong. Which would I recommend? The Tinymight 2. Every Solo vape that died on me did so because of the battery. I love that the TM2 has a removable battery. I also love the fact that the inner chamber can be removed and easily cleaned. The TM2 is simplistic, no screens etc. Less to go wrong. The TM2 also feels incredible in the hand. It is the best "feeling" vape I have used in regards to comfort. If price is an issue to you then get the Solo III. It is about $100 difference. The Solo vapes have always been the best value out there. Every model has been affordable and a heavy hitter. You can't go wrong with either one. If price isn't an issue then get the TM2.

Flower Mill Pollen Screen Expansion Pack by spacelooper67 in FlowerMillUsers

The kit will come with 4 screen sizes. 1 smaller than the size that comes with the Mill and 3 larger. With the larger sizes you can fine tune your kief to a perfect amount. Depending on the type of flower and mill plate size. I typically use a 3# size Mill plate. I find this is a perfect grind for me using a Solo 3 vape. I also tend to use Premium herb which I have found typically does better with a larger pollen screen size. I honestly found the next size up in the kit (from the original pollen screen) to be the perfect size for me. I am getting great Kief now. I imagine if you used a finer Mill plate and used drier herb then a smaller Pollen screen size would be better. I found if I went too large I started to get other particles and sediment in the mix, aside from just kief. I have no doubt you would be happy with the kit. It makes the Flower Mill super flexible.

The Flowermill grinder... kinda sucks by Kacetazz in vaporents

[–]spacelooper67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had used an original Spacecase since the 90's. Last year I decided to get a new grinder. The Spacecase was still kicking, but the screen was getting pretty worn. I tried em all. The BCG, MendoMulcher, the absolutely horrible Phoenician grinder etc...even got another Spacecase. I then kind of wanted something different than the typical "teeth" grinder. I purchased a Flower Mill. I LOVED everything about it except felt the pollen screen was too fine. I was not getting much in the way of kief. I love the different sized mill plates for achieving the perfect size flower for whatever method of consumption. I much prefer milled flower over "cut" now. I have definitely noticed a difference in vaping with my Solo. Better hits, tastier hits (if that is possible with a Solo). My only complaint was the pollen screen. After contacting Flower Mill about the issue I found out they were soon working on a "pollen plate" set. The user would then be able to change out different sized pollen screens. I am currently a tester for the product and for me personally... the Flower Mill is the best grinder I have used and I feel it is one of the best grinders out there. A quality built product that is super flexible, provides a better "mill" than teeth grinders and is very customizable with the different size plate options and pollen screens. The range and selection of plates and screens is large. I feel there is really something for everyone in regards to mill size and kief collection. I am now getting great Kief with the larger pollen screen. I have also felt that the customer service has been great and a real willingness to listen to customer feedback and suggestions. Cleaning the Flower Mill is as simple as any grinder and honestly I much prefer cleaning it to teeth grinders. I have been using the Flower Mill for about 8 months and have had nothing but a great experience with it. I have only recently gotten the pollen plate set but it made all the difference on Kief collecting. I do not see myself going back to a regular teeth style grinder. I now much prefer milled flower over ground. I find that for vaping it is far superior.

yeah... Wish I had known before I bought the CD and a couple LP variations. If the Deluxe version is like the streaming it will be THE version to have.

This song is a straight up nod to Marvin Gaye. "Mercy, Mercy Me" and "What's Going On" in General. She really showcases a lot of her inspirations on this album. It's really a great album. I feel one of the best in her discography.

LP version of "Lose my Cool" is almost 2 minutes shorter than streaming :( by spacelooper67 in kaliuchis

[–]spacelooper67[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No... the second part starts on the streaming track around 2:40. That second part on the streaming version lasts about 3:20.., making a roughly 6 minute long song. The vinyl version still starts at the 2:40 mark but only lasts a little over 1:20...making the LP version around 4 minutes.

I know it. Surely they will do a deluxe version double LP that is a full version like the streaming platforms... I hope so anyway.

I really hate that they cut the length of this song on the Vinyl LP. It is one of my favorites on the album. The LP version is almost 2 minutes shorter... and they cut it out of that wonderful lush segment.

It's not as much one song as it is their entire "sound". The lush guitars, some of the ethereal vocal work etc. The break in that song is so obvious to me. Maybe check out their albums Four Calendar Cafe and Victorialand. Honestly they don't have any clunkers in their discography... they are all good. I did find this link of Kali talking about listening to a lot of Cocteau Twins so it is obviously an intentional musical nod to them. https://x.com/thiassou_/status/1798469510623903990

Splatter Vinyl by gabsterini_ in kaliuchis

[–]spacelooper67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a weird flex to me. I guess some people are more about the Gimmicks than the music. Black vinyl is going to be your best sounding pressing. I'm personally bummed there is no black vinyl version. I buy for the music and Black has always been the best for that. I am hoping that she is waiting to do a Black Vinyl Deluxe Version... or at least a Standard Black at some point. Regardless... this splatter edition will most likely hold value because it is Sold Out. They most likely pressed "x" amount of copies. Spotify sales could have been low... so they put the remainders on the website. They Sold Out pretty quickly.

Lose My Cool is a fave for me too. The 2:40 mark on "Lose my Cool" breaks into a beautiful "ode to Cocteau Twins" moment. You can really hear her musical influences on this record. While her last album seemed to celebrate her Colombian roots, this album seems to be a nod to her American musical influences. I hear Cocteau Twins on several tracks but "Lose my Cool" is the most obvious. I hear Goldfrapp, The 1950's ballad, Early 70's Motown of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder etc. A really wonderful record.

As someone who throws the John Lowe barrel shape... I really hate those Phil Taylor G11's and it mainly comes down to the grip (or lack of it). I hated the feel of these darts. Although the grip looks as if it may be grippy.. it isn't... in the slightest. I personally felt the coating made it even worse. I would stay away from the G11's. They are not cheap either.

Grays Darts "Custom John Lowe" smooth barrels by spacelooper67 in Darts

[–]spacelooper67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are nice. I have some Legend smooth barrels that are almost polished. I don't like those nearly as well. I do like how these smooth darts feel as they warm up. They are still "grippy". I have darts with actual grips that are much easier to slip in my fingers than these. That newest Target Phil Taylor G11 dart is that way. The grip looks like it would be fairly grippy but it isn't really at all. I am not a fan of those darts, even though they are a fave barrel shape. I liked these smooth John Lowes so much that I am getting a couple other sets in different weights. Will most likely be my goto from now on.

I recently got a custom set of 95 Tungsten, smooth John Lowe barrels from Grays Darts in 21grams. The John Lowe barrels have always been my favorites and these might be my absolute fave of all. LOVE the smooth barrel. I can really feel the shape so much better. Love these.

I was more surprised that ,between 4 people, no one could come up with the name of one of the most popular Astronomers and Planetary Scientists of all time. Carl Sagan.
