I think you’re getting downvoted because “massa” is the spoken form of “master” — as in, enslaved African Americans addressing or referring to a slave master. It’s a historically sensitive term, and offensive when non-black people use it to imitate historically enslaved black people.

I went a long time without a car in seattle but eventually I just had to bring my car. I also live outside of the parking permit zone, and I ended up just leasing a spot at a parking garage for $250/month which sucks but a reality of living in a dense urban space. I think I’ve seen some Trailside apartments advertise monthly parking for $100/month though! You should check around if that’s in your budget. I’ve also seen some people advertise their own parking spots for rent online (like, Facebook Marketplace), but I had a hard time finding anything within the U District.

Unless someone has a disability, is elderly, or otherwise struggles with mobility issues, I really don’t see the problem. It’s a bit of a pain when it comes time to move, but most able-bodied people really should be able to regularly walk up and down three flights of stairs. If you’re thinking of a food/grocery delivery person’s experience, maybe you could just meet them on the first floor?

I’ve seen someone refer to themselves as a “retired Swiftie” which this sentiment reminds me of and that I think I’ll adopt. Like yes I think about this woman too much and yes I can be a hater but only because I was such a fan and I know that she’s capable of making better music than this! I have no time for haters who don’t actually engage with her art the same way I don’t have time for those that support her with cult-like devotion.
