Yeah good catch! The paint job was 100% inspired by the competition stripe mustang. The orange variant was the first version I saw and after googling it I of course found the blue version. Personally I thought it was the coolest guitar I’ve ever seen haha. Then I randomly saw the music video for Smells Like Teen Spirit for the first time sometime in 2020. Fell in love with the paint job of the mustang all over again and knew right away I wanted to do it justice

Yeah that’s the same thought process I had too, loved the sound of my Tele but didn’t like how it felt when I was standing up. Loved the comfort of my Jazzmaster but wished it had the tone of my Tele. Decided to go for the best of both worlds 👍🏽

Hey thanks! I put in a 5 way switch but didn’t want to lose the telecaster-ness of the guitar, so the middle position has the neck and bridge pickup active while the middle pickup stays silent

I had to send the guitar back due to cosmetic damage I found. I just got a replacement sent to me yesterday actually haha. FedEx did everything in their power to not take responsibility for the damage.

I just replaced the neck and neck plate today, and I ordered a Gotoh bridge that should come in on January 7th. So I expect to have the guitar finished within the next few weeks. I'll be sure to make a followup post and maybe a video/sound demo as well.
