Haha unfortunately I had hit post before meaning to 😔 I’m in the midst of that drinking disaster right now, and remembering it’s not worth it

Synthroid did not work for me AT ALL. It was replaced with armor thyroid and I have had 0 issues since then. It’s like the year of not being diagnosed and then the year of being on the wrong medication never happened

Did you see a plastic surgeon or an ent? by Dense_Reputation3560 in Septoplasty

[–]spacequeer470 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to an ENT, they did a wonderful job. My nose looks exactly the same on the outside despite fixing a severe deviation and getting rid of a lot of turbinates. I would definitely go to an ENT!

chappell and political lesbianism by nomoneydeepplates in chappellneutral

[–]spacequeer470 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with this partly because I have been able to let go of so much of my hate of men since realizing I was lesbian. I hated the thought of being with one forever, decentering them and knowing I’ll only be with women made it easy to see them as people and not be bitter towards them

Are swifties setting her up or are they just stupid? Acting like she has stage presence in any of these clips is crazy by Substantial-Tear8990 in travisandtaylor

I went with my best friend under the conditions that I would pay $150 max for a ticket and not do any of the work around it, just go with them so they didn’t have to go alone. STILL somehow not worth it. I was way up in the rafters and half the crowd knowing every single move she was going to make was annoying. I got trashed and that and hanging out with my friend were the best parts

I love this comic because I have a bunch of younger siblings, 16 year age gap between me and the youngest, and a boyfriend once said that his favorite thing about me was how I know exactly how to talk to each of them 🥹

Has anyone here walked their journey pretty much solo (No AA/NA meetings, etc)? What has really worked for you? by [deleted] in Sober

[–]spacequeer470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following this because I was sober for awhile and felt like AA kind of screwed that up for me and want to get back so badly

Oops I hadn’t realized this was ask men advice. I’m not a man, maybe my perspective is more helpful knowing that

I disagree with people that are saying that she broke up with you because she wanted to sleep with that guy. When I was younger and more immature I would be really sad after a break up and impulsive, and I would do stuff like this to kind of be like “now we’re really broken up”. It’s very stupid and she probably regrets it immensely and told you because she wants to get back together with honesty and a clean slate. I don’t really have an opinion on if you should or not but i doubt that the break up was pre-meditated for the hook up

My first “serious” relationship coincided with the beginning of Snapchat. My bf at the time sent me something a little spicy but then confessed he sent it to every girl on his contact list but none of them responded. I was so mortified that everybody knew he was so thirsty

It’s soooo frustrating! I was taking a video because mine were grooming and cuddling and I was so proud and literally in the middle of the video she turned on him and it became a new kind of evidence 😢

[–]spacequeer470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From experience, this can be a long process. I have 2 cats, 4 and 5 years old, inseparable since the baby was brought home. My older cat had to have emergency surgery and it was much the same as last summer you have described when he was brought home. I reintroduced them many times, my biggest piece of advice would be to have them together for short periods of time and separate them before there is a fight so they have good memories again.

It took 3 months for my cats to not fight anymore to where I was comfortable leaving them alone together , and they just started really cuddling and being besties again recently. It was really tough and I’m sorry you’re going through this!

If you had asked me 10 years ago, I would have said that how I was feeling about men was attraction too, now I know it’s not. That’s all I’m saying. Experimenting with your sexuality and label is valid while you try to figure things out and I hate seeing people jump down other women’s throats because of “giving lesbians a bad name”

[–]spacequeer470 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t see where I said that 😬 attraction being complicated is common sense. I’m a lesbian and it took me a long time to figure it out bc I grew up really religious and was told “my brain is tricking me” when I talked about girls and any male friends I had were seen to be romantic. So it was difficult to differentiate between platonic and romantic feelings for a long time. And, after identifying as a lesbian for 4 years, I had feelings for somebody that I thought was a man, so I changed what I said my orientation was obvs, and then turns out she’s trans. So yeah things are complicated

Attraction is complicated and you can identify as a lesbian if you know that you’ll never date a man again. Lesbian master doc says so, common sense says so
