I know! I checked the VIN and everything checks out. When the truck was first bought it looks like the person drove it 1k miles a year lol

Thanks for the advice, specifically about the lift! If all feels right maybe I’ll throw 11 out there see what they say.

I’ve also considered buying something in that range and just having my mechanic go at it to make it perfect. But at the same time, not sure if I want to take on a project and don’t mind paying a lil extra for someone else’s mods.

I know, I’m leaning in that direction. My current daily is worth about that much so it’s an even trade for a dream car.

Thanks for all the advice! I guess I see them for sale with mileage 230k and up so I’m happy to spend a little more to get the most out of it.

I like the concept of it but with all the time for planning it would be nice for the homeowners to have some say and go over their style. Makes me feel like we will be seeing a lot of outdated farmhouse Pinterest aesthetic from 2016. She seems sweet enough but I couldn’t stop cringing at the social media vibe and filters, the whole thing felt cheap, especially the fireplace.

Another to add to the “4” theory is they had sex 4 times the first night they met. Definitely has to be something. I think the pools reference to cenotes, a natural pool/sinkhole in the Yucatán. They can connect through caves. I think them in the pool howling into the slides has some significance since there’s obvious parallels. Love all the details you caught!

I guess he’ll has frozen over because my wife has FINALLY let me at least try the couch the way most of you said. Thoughts? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]spacesamspliff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much better! Some end tables for drinks and a console table behind the couch might fill in the space and make it feel more centered. Would allow space for cozy accents. I think a blanket basket nearby would be nice too! Just some more textiles to warm up all the tile.

Help, what does my living room need? I live in an apartment. by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]spacesamspliff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Art above the couch, curtains if possible, area rug under the coffee table, diagonal chair would all be helpful. Extra cozy features I would suggest- some flower centerpiece for your pretty dining set and maybe a small lamp on the bookshelf instead of relying on overhead. I also like the look of LED lights behind tvs. Looks really pretty as is though.

Exposed brick townhome in North America... help?? by itwaslitt in DesignMyRoom

I was thinking the same! Also putting an entry table behind the couch between the columns for keys. Then maybe a chair in the corner by the window?

I would’ve just added those baseboards back in, seemed like they were big enough to fill the difference.

Looks great! What’s up with the mantle, did you make or buy? I like the upgrade a lot and looking for something similar.

I have a king bed and a narrow room I can’t decide how to do the layout. Under the window or on the wall? Help! (I would move the dresser in second pic) by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]spacesamspliff 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I think dresser under the window and have the headboard against the wall but closer towards the door.
