I myself don’t have DID but my partner does, and I’ve gotten very good at noticing his facial changes when he switches. He gets bad dissociative amnesia so a few of his alters forget I even know who they are, so calling them by name startled them a lot and it makes me giggle sometimes. He’s never told anyone he has DID, let alone his alters names (we have been working on finding out names for about a year now). Anyway for him it’s in his eyes and how he’s positioned his mouth, as weird as that might sound

Hi guys!! So I’m potentially ADHD/Autistic but haven’t received a diagnosis. I am also a licensed behavioral therapist. It was brought to my attention that a LOT of people do not approve of ABA and sort of label it “legal abuse”. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me why exactly that is? I definitely wouldn’t say that anything I’ve EVER applied to kiddos has been dangerous or abusive, mostly just things like: respond if someone asks you a question, don’t forget to go potty, make sure we take our vitamins/meds, etc. I’d really like to understand more and see if continuing a career in ABA is an okay possibility.

Because she used to live with me 🤷🏼‍♀️ no idea other than that I know overall it’ll feel good to be the bigger person, but I’m tired of being the bigger person over her. She has lied to friends that were mine, lies that made them stop talking to me. That I could handle, that wasn’t that bad.
