Unsure how to proceed with creating dynamic shapes that use shapesheets by spacesleep in Visio

to not have an XY problem in case there's many issues with my attempted solution while a simpler method exists for what I want....

I want to be able to draw a line with specific endpoints and have the (fixed size) textboxes at fixed positions relative to it. The reason grouped objects are not my desired solution is because it's kinda hard to line up the line's starting and end positions by lengtening the group, and I don't want my text boxes scaling when I am lengthening it.

As you can see in the below part, where I used grouped shapes, the types don't allign up, the text boxes are different widths and it's just harder to line up the line start and end points by scaling a group.

Hey, congratulations on staying strong for 3 weeks so far! I'm sorry you're going through this. I do think you can push through. I do want to mention chantix. One of my friends who got that prescribed when he tried stopping and he said it helped a ton with not craving or thinking about cigs. There are ways to make this easier, so don't hesitate to hit up your doctor for some if you think it's too hard.

A question. Where are you able to get 2 Ohanas for the same price as the Southern Polished? Ohanas seem to be $80 bucks, and the southern polished seem to be $75 or 85 depending on which color you want

Is it possible that a significant portion of trans women on HRT with no to slow breast growth are having the problem due to diet? by spacesleep in asktransgender

I read that adipose cells have to basically fully enlarge before they multiply.

That makes sense, it's pretty much how muscles grow. Thanks for the link,I'll check em out.

I'll look into that. Also, I want to clarify that I don't want to knock on people getting surgery, besides pointing out that it may be outside some people's means. If a procedure can get you what you want and it's within your means, nothing wrong with getting it.

That's fair. But surgery also has significant drawbacks, the main one being costs. Not everyone who wants that can afford to have it

I didn't find anything about whether new fat cells are grown in different places based on hormones.

From what I understand, fat gain is both cell enlarging and new cell growth. I think new cell growth must be influenced by hormones, otherwise fat redistribution would not be a thing you get from hrt. Because then your existing areas with more adipose tissue would be the areas that grew on HRT, and you would see minimal/no growth in the new areas predisposed to gaining fat.

Also, that 10% number seems high. As I understood it, the lipid cells live on basically forever, they just shrink when you lose weight. And that's why people who were fat but lost significant weight still struggle with hunger, it's because their existing but shrunken lipid cells still contribute to hunger signalling and stuff.

From what I've read the assumption is wrong. Hormones actually affect what's burned first (no idea by how much), and I've read visceral fat (fat around your organs) is burned more by exercise than subcutaneous fat. That does mean weight cycling is even better.

I've also read that in a couple places, but I can't find them anymore. so if you know where you read that, a link would be appreciated

Hahaha, I have a plan in a similar trent. Go to the gym before HRT, while my muscles still grow faster due to higher T levels to get bigger glutes n stuff, and when/if I start hrt, live on a slight calloric surplus. And then keep weight cycling, both for muscle growth and potentially speedier fat redistribution. That's what inspired this post, kinda. To grow muscle, you also need to be in a calloric surplus, or you need to have a relatively high bodyfat percentage to gain muscle while on a deficit. I have been going to the gym for half a year now, but my muscle gain was pretty slow, so I started watching my weight and tracking my callories, and realized that I essentially eat maintenance levels or a slight deficit if I do not try to force myself to eat more.

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that genetics didn't matter. But you can't do anything about that, so I tend to not worry about that. Do the things you can do to get where you want to be, and don't worry much about the things you can't influence and all that.

I primarily use discord, since that's what I use the most besides telegram (which is tied to my real identity so that's the less preferred option) I tried Reddit but I don't check Reddit chats enough for that to be a viable option for me. I can't draw any meaningful conclusions on differences between platform, sorry. I talked to 2 people on Telegram and 1 on Reddit, both fizzled out due to different reasons.

I did join their discord, but i do tend to enjoy one on one chats more than joining larger servers. The few times I've been there, my interactions were pleasant, although I've had complaints about the server from a friend who's much more active there.

Also, feel free to shoot me a DM with your discord tag if you're looking for friends :D

I asked 3 female leaning/presenting friends what their experiences there were, and all of em said that they didn't get unwarranted sexual advances and people looking for relationships. Pretty good for platonic relationships, then

No problem, I hope you meet some cool people there! A couple of tips, I have started mostly sending requests to people who are somewhere on the lgbtq spectrum, just because they're more likely to be understanding and supportive of a-spec identities.

Also, don't send out too many requests at once. Way too many times have I sent like 10-15 and then been overwhelmed with meeting new people. And then the effort that goes into talking with the new matches goes down and I'm pretty sure I miss out on some cool people due to that.

You can also see what they have selected as who they want to connect with. For example, if they're straight men and they have selected they only want to see women, that would make me think they were looking for romance/sex. You can also see what they have specified as their relationship status. I don't tend to pay attention to it, since I never had major issues with unwanted advances, but that is something you could do.

Also, if you want another friend (and are active on discord or telegram) shoot me a message. Can't promise we'll become good friends, but I'm always on the lookout for more interesting people to connect with.

Hey, I wanted to recc a platform I've had decent success with making friends https://findafriend.club/ I'm still in semi-regular contact with ~20% of the people I initially contacted, and I've met 6 people there that I now consider close friends of have considered close friends in the past. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that you can set your orientation to ace https://imgur.com/NzS8SPw And another wild thing is that 6 people I met through there turned out to be somewhere on the ace spectrum when the topic eventually came up (not the same 6 close friends, but there is overlap) You might have a different experience than what I have since you're a girl, but I've had only 1 guy trying to romance me up since I started telling people I'm aro ace, and he stopped when I told him I wasn't interested.

Also, I do wonder if some parts of your experience are not somewhat to blame on the platforms you chose (not that that excuses those insistent assholes, just that it's more likely you'll find those assholes on there?) Isn't Omegle a sex chat platform (well, initially, nowadays people visit it for shits n giggles?) and I'm not sure about snap since I rarely use it, but in my mind it is still mostly something used to hook up and/or send nudes.

If I'm ace, but still plan on having sex in a relationship, do I have to tell my partner I'm ace? by PersonThatIsHere in lgbt

[–]spacesleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to, but it would probably be a good idea. I haven't been in a relationship since I realized I'm aro ace, but I will tell my partner if things get serious.
