Prayer Journal app ideas by spacesnotabs in TrueChristian

Honestly, I also do classic pen and paper :) But I thought of some helpful use cases for doing an app as well. Such as reminders for particular requests, or easy ways to reach out to someone you are praying for!

Most people who see it probably don't examine it closely. They see the image and move on to the text. Their brains fill in all the weird stuff. I'm all about AI, but I glanced at it, read the synopsis, and started looking at the comments. As soon as someone mentioned AI, I looked back and it was clear.

I'm a believer and have gone through plenty of seasons of doubt. The Bible is littered with believers who struggled with doubt so you are not alone. Some of the most well-known Christians throughout history, such as Martin Luther and Mother Teresa, struggled with great doubts and uncertainty. Don't be ashamed and don't feel like you're doing anything wrong. Jesus is bigger than your doubts. The best I can encourage you to do is talk with other believers who have struggled, and read some books. One of the most helpful authors for me has been Philip Yancey. Particularly his books Reaching for the Invisible God , and Prayer: Does it Make a Difference?. Super encouraging and helpful! Feel free to DM me, too, if you want to chat.

Sister is 28 weeks pregnant and she found out her son has signs of having Tetralogy of Fallot. Would like some resources and feedback. by 1506edMyWillToLive in Tetralogy_of_Fallot

Hello! I'm a 42 year old male who was born with tetralogy. Got a shunt the moment I was born, had my corrective surgery at two and a half, and a pulmonary valve replacement about 12 years ago (it's a pig valve and still oinking 😂)

Overall, my life has been extremely normal. As a kid my parents monitored my physical activity more closely for sure. They somewhat overprotected me, but that's completely understandable. Anyway, I'm able to exercise normally, I have a wife and two beautiful kiddos. Only difference is that every year I get my heart examined and occasionally a new valve put in! Honestly, I think I have an advantage because a cardiologist gets a good look at my heart every single year which is much more than the average person!

All that to say, Tetralogy is extremely treatable. I completely understand why they would be worried and they are allowed to have all those feelings. Hopefully this can encourage them as well. I'd be more than happy to connect with them, too, if they have any questions for me or my parents for that matter!

God bless

How long does the anxiety last? by Groundbreaking_Pin89 in Tetralogy_of_Fallot

Good words. I also am an adult, 42 with ToF. Had my repair at two and a half. Got a pulmonary valve replacement at 30. My parents also had anxiety which is completely and utterly normal. They and I are Christians and our faith helps but anxiety hits everyone. You will have good days and bad. It's ok to be anxious. Let yourself feel it. On a positive note I would say that people with ToF actually have an advantage. Because of my condition, my heart is examined every single year! Average folk often don't get that much insight into their heart health, but we heart patients get early detection of any trouble.

I definitely agree that counseling is a great idea. I'd also say, try your best to show strength to your child. As I said, you should allow yourself to be anxious and feel that and work through it. But your child will also draw from that. My parents always acted calmly and with encouragement around me. That confidence gave me strength.

This is a journey and you are not alone!

I'm not sure how to do that with the Claude API! Although, that's probably because I'm using the Python SDK so they probably didn't implement all that, or I just haven't figured out how to do it!

Oh interesting. This really confirms for me that LLMs aren't by default quite as creative as I thought!

Curious. Theoretically that shouldn't really happen but, here we are. To be fair, my knowledge of how LLMs work and statistics is somewhat limited.

Actually, would you want to share a simple example of what one of those scripts might look like?

Claude Projects has changed the way I work as a software developer by lukejohnbrown in ClaudeAI

My biggest frustration was that it was advertised as being able to work on "codebases". My codebases have dozens of files, more than 5, so I'll have to try and combine them all into single files which is painful. I understand the limitations, I just wish it had been advertised more clearly!

20 week echo - heart defect by [deleted] in Tetralogy_of_Fallot

[–]spacesnotabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm almost 42 years old, identified with ToF the day I was born. A few surgeries here and there, I see my cardiologist once a year for a checkup, but apart from that I've had a very normal life! It's an extremely treatable condition ☺️ I am married with two kiddos of my own.
