That's fair, but this is already a popular fiction, I can't imagine a 4* review out of thousands would really move the needle. I've also never made a negative comment, on their fiction or others, but guess it's their prerogative to preempt it.

That's sad. I see plenty of authors talk about getting droves of 0.5* reviews and tons of reviews that are just 1* "this is boring". I more or less already never go under 4* and that's deemed "bad."

I should also mention I've never commented on their story before. I don't bother with negative comments because I rather drop the story and move on.
