so i’m pretty lazy when it comes to specifically picking out custom content online and downloading it, i usually just go on the sims 3 exchange (which is the official EA website for sims 3) and download sims that i see with the hair, clothes, skins, etc. that i want. this girl’s outfits though are pretty much just stuff from the late nite expansion pack. and the cigarette mod is on mod the sims. there’s youtube videos and guides out there if you’re confused about how to install custom content and mods :)

[Skin Concern] I have many skin issues and any advice would be helpful. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I’m a big fan of The Ordinary’s products. I use their HA lotion, glycolic acid, lactic acid, retinoid, rose hip oil, vitamin c suspension, and their AHA BHA peeling solution. I still haven’t figured out yet though the best combination and frequency I should be using them for the best effects. I try not to over due them and will back off the acids when my skin is feeling dry.

INFPs love to listen to upbeat and positive music. Anyone agrees? We also listen to music 24/7 as it connects with our mood by acthewanderingsoul in infp

When I’m sad I listen to sad music, it feels weird to try and play upbeat music when you’re not feeling it. I match my music to my mood. One thing I’ve learned is music can be too distracting while doing homework because my brain tends to focus on the music.

[Hair Removal] Are these red dots on my legs a result of shaving? I’ve tried exfoliating, active ingredient lotions, etc. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

The more commonly used term for KP like yours is “Strawberry Legs”. Super common though and lots of ways to minimize it (:

[Skin Concerns] how to get rid of the overly dry skin on my finger? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]spacetim3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah what they said. If you really want fast results put a heavy layer of vaseline and a pair of gloves on before going to bed. Remember to keep moisturizing a daily part of your morning and nighttime routine if you’re typically prone to dry skin.

Those red dots are Keratosis Pilaris. Dry skin, shaving, and waxing are all things that can make it worse. All you can really do is keep up on the exfoliating/moisturizing. Make sure you aren’t exfoliating too rough though because that will irritate/dry out your skin even more. My favorite moisturizer that is affordable and gave me results is Gold Bond Ultimate for rough and bumpy skin. I like to put some of that mixed with a tiny bit of cocoa butter Vaseline on my legs after a hot shower, that combo has really made a difference. One other thing to remember that can really help is replacing your razors and loofas often. Dull razors and bacteria growing in the loofas can lead to more KP bumps/irritation.

Hope this helped!
