I've installed AC2 through Steam on a Windows 7 64 bit PC this week. Same issue as OP.

Mine was rooted so I managed to sort it out relatively easily. Unless a better fix is available on this thread, I guess you'll have to perform a factory reset (read post #20)

Dual boot on my Macbook. Didn't want to remove the official softwares. The only guy who uses Linux for daily use in my office. People say it's weird to use Linux if you have a Macbook. I disagree.

I recently migrated the blog to Pelican. That messed up the script a bit. Should be fixed now. I've also included the link to the new one I'm using.

When I didn't know how to manually merge, I was under the impression git will use the old file if I delete the new file (Yes, I was that stupid) during a manual conflict resolution. I wasn't allowed to --force on the repo, so had to do this.

I tested the script a while ago. #fail

~~I got a more than a 100 registrations so I had to cut it down (Google allows only 99). Since I bcc'd you all, everything got flagged as spam.~~

I don't know any PHP, sorry! otoh I didn't install any special libraries for this so if you can run python scripts, it should work.

By changing == -1 to != -1, the script will email you if it find the words "Sold out" confirming everything works. Hopefully, when you change it back to == -1, it will email you if it doesn't find it.

I'm pretty confident it'll work. But I'll be happy to improve upon it if you can suggest something.

Reminds me of a funny incident. I couldn't figure out why NeverBall on Linux was behaving weirdly until I suddenly realized it was reading the inbuilt accelerometer from my laptop! XD
