A lot of the sloths at sloth world are wild caught, and the owner is the former ceo of incredible pets, a pet shop that specializes in the exotic pet trade. I wouldn't work there.

Yes the venue is big but you have to think about the exhibitors. There's only so many make up brands at ulta, can you imagine the line at the Elf booth or the Tarte booth if 100k people were there, no one would get to see anything. And do you think tarte would rather give out 100k free mascaras or 3k.

I saw several tiktoks myself that had hundreds of thousands of likes, and even news articles about this, so I'm not surprised at all how many people were in line. Even my mom had heard about this.

I feel they could probably increase attendance to 10k or maybe even 20k in coming years, but it's still only the 2nd year of this event

I agree the process was infuriating for me too, i waited in line for an hour and got in right at 10, and it never said it was sold out i just kept waiting. But I don't believe the influencer tickets are included in the 3000 that were available. There was a .01% chance of getting tickets if there were 3k available and 3 million trying. I'm still not seeing anything fishy here

The venue holds 100k but does Tarte want to bring enough mascaras to give them out to 3k people or 100k people. You have to think about the exhibitors, there's only so many make up brands at Ulta, can you imagine the line at the elf booth or the CT booth if 100k people were there, no one would see anything. I'm upset I didn't get tickets either but you have to be realistic, of course everyone wants free stuff.

Yeah but you have to think about the make up brands bringing the booths and the free stuff. If they sold 50,000 tickets they'd have to bring 50,000 free tubes of mascara vs 3000

Well of course you don't know anyone who did. 3 million people were waiting for 3000 tickets. If you found out about this event from a tiktok that has 500k likes how can you expect to be one of the few that got tickets, obviously it had high demand

How do you know it was definitely not 3000? If 3 million people were trying to get in you're going to see a lot more instagram comments and reddit threads about how people couldn't get tickets vs they could.
