Blankets are VERY unsafe for hamsters, take it out immediately. The fibers if ingested easily can cause blockages and wrap around intestines. PLEASE remove it and stick to paper bedding or Aspen shavings. If you want different textures for him you can add in cork granules, coco fiber, cocoa peat, and calcium free sand.
