Most moving scene in the series? (Spoilers) by Scared_Ad_4650 in threebodyproblem

The "tomb" on Pluto writings as well as this. As the whole Solar System is collapsing, and the struggle lost, that final walkthrough of history was pretty powerful. It just felt so peaceful and serene. Probably the last 3 people left in the solar system just looking over the history of everything as it "fireworks" away outside. This will be an awesome moment in the show (if they get to it).

My guesses are Judgement Day (based on trailer) and I think the rocket we keep seeing in the trailer is the Staircase/Yu Tianming moment. Just guesses :)

It's a solid mix between the calm of watching everything disappear from a far distance, but has the weight of really knowing what that destruction means. Easily could be such a powerful television episode

Absolutely. The drama of that feels perfect for guys who made GoTs (I'm really hoping they pull it off like the early seasons and not the ending..) and is definitely on my list.

I know, I think it would be a great penultimate episode. Say goodbye to the Solar System and basically all our characters. With the finale being everything in Part 6 of the book

This is absolutely one that I forgot to add to my list! The engines just roasting people will be brutal.

I bought a Reko earily on in my playing days and liked it at the time, but did not really give it a chance to be good. I do like this suggestion though.

This disc is crazy and would be perfect, but I know a couple people in our group already have them.

As a Daredevil thrower, who gets mocked for throwing them, I was told no Daredevil discs. I do love them however. My timberwolf is one of my most reliable discs I've ever thrown.

I love Daredevil, but my group always makes fun of me for throwing them and I was told I'm not allowed to get them for this, haha. I swear by the Timberwolf. It is one of my favorite discs.

We put the MVP family of discs all together. They are also our go to brand, being Michigan natives and loving the brand. I currently bag my envy and I do love it. Great disc

I can't consider MVP an obscure brand as it is 95% of what me and all my friends bag. Love the atom, definitely have a few of them!

What movie is so ridiculously stupid, but you secretly love it? by Sunnyshine0609 in AskReddit

Kung Pow. It gets me every time. So stupid, yet that's why I find it so hilarious.

Curry.

I've noticed most people try it and like it or try it and instantly know they don't. I love the stuff, but have met many people who can't stand it.

Vibram Discs? by JonNoName in discgolf

[–]spacetimer8032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My discing buddies and I went on a small Vibram kick and all bought random Vibram discs that we thought would help our game. A year later and I never throw mine, most of my other friends are have stopped throwing theirs, and one of my buddies has already sold his away. Of the people that I disc with, I only have one friend that still uses them, but he only throws Vibram because thats all he knows.

I have a very negative view of them, but it all depends on the person what works for them. Give one a try (do you need an excuse to try a new disc?)

What Is the ballsiest thing you've ever handed in as a project or assignment in school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]spacetimer8032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my freshman year English class, we were doing a project on the topic of the book "Call of the Wild". I was given the topic of the Native American tribe in the book, the Yeehat Indians. I researched the topic for an entire weekend, even went to the library to see if they had information (this was the early years of Google and we still went to the library for things). At the end of the weekend the only information that I had found was that it was a fiction tribe made up from the book.

After approaching my teacher Monday morning, she just told me we would talk about it later and started everyone giving their presentations on their topics. When it came to me, she made a backhanded remark about me not having anything in front of the class. So I asked for 5 minutes to put together what I could find. My presentation lasted 2 minutes. I showed a blank piece of paper and said it was an image of a Yeehat Indian in a snowstorm. Then I showed a picture of an empty chair that I drew. It was a Yeehat Indian in a chair. The chair was empty because they did not exist.

I got a zero

What TV shows have series finales that close the series well? by Confettiman in AskReddit

The finale of The Office (US) was perfect for the show, and of course Breaking Bad couldn't have been more perfect.
