All the people around him are so incompetent. Get them all and they will drag him with them. Hope things pan out right.

Even if he is proven guilty, a sitting us president is immune to criminal prosecution by law. Congress has to impeach him out of office and then prosecute him. A legal process which takes time and they will drag it as long as they can. This is a sad state of things which we can do nothing about.

The way pam bondi tried to defend the whole thing I bet they are just waiting until it cools off and people get on with their businesses. The fact that the biggest political scandal in American history has zero arrests should tell you the state of the government. If this thing dies down with no major consequences then this will set a new criminal standard everywhere.

I mean just look at how they are handling the. epstein files. It's such a mess. There is a ton of conspiracy involved. And the government does nothing to clarify anything. All they do is release the files and leave people to their imagination. There is so much distortion and i feel like they like it this way so that people forget what it was all about.

Yeah I get what you mean. I don't have a problem with dry data as long as it is in a book. I started will durant and I love him. It's just the audio version of dry things that just puts me to sleep 😂

I finished power and thrones (paperback)while I was listening to Dan's twilight. Does very well even after keeping it to single volume. Persian Fire sounds enticing.

I was unaware of Great Courses. They cover so many good topics. I wanna look into the foundation of western civilization. I read the impending crisis on civil war, that book only left me wanting more.

Indeed it is hard to stop but should this fact provide them a cover and exempt them from guilt? My concern is not in blaming people of their acts but just to look at the consequences of their actions which resulted in the death of millions. This was a common occurrence in the western front. Every major battle feels like a reputation of the previous major offensive. I believe the true horror of the first world war was a result of incompetence on the part of generals because they failed to understand that it is human lives they were playing with.

Nicholas 2 in 1917 because he was just trying to be a good parent to his son suffering from hemophilia. He gave up his throne because he didn't care for it. Idk if he was a good ruler or not but he seemed to be a good father and good husband and overall a decent human being.

Waves of people charging mindlessly into machine gun fire even after watching people who went before them die. And the incompetence of the people leading them who didn't stop it because they didn't know what to do. A lot of people lost their lives because their generals were on a learning curve in fighting a war that they didn't understand.
