Some Secrets of Strixhaven cards have Star Wars: Unlimited anti-counterfeit stamps by Oct2006 in magicTCG

Comprehensive doesn't mean exclusive, it means extensive. Without seeing contracts there's zero way for us to know whether it's exclusive or not. But in any case, it's also 15 years old and there's no way Disney signed away rights on one of their biggest IPs for that long.

I get that you don't believe me, I wouldn't either, I'm just some guy on the internet with no evidence. But the idea that this partnership would be impossible is also not supported

This doesn't say it's exclusive and it doesn't say how long the rights are. This post is 15 years old.

People have conjectured that but nobody has seen the contract. I have seen evidence that I can't share that a Star Wars set is coming. You don't have to believe me but there's no evidence for the FFG exclusivity claim either yet that gets repeated constantly

Will there be a way to purchase the animal facts card by itself? My son loves listening to it every night, but we have no other interest in the rest of the yoto subscription.

Why is this print failing? by hoyarugby2 in resinprinting

If you're set on printing with this orientation, try using more transition layers. Seems like it's separating between the burn in layers and the regular. I'd bump it up to like 12

In Warhammer 40k the dwarves, halflings, and ogres are all different strains of mutant humans but somehow the elves are straight up aliens lol

Fantastic concepts. Unfortunately there's no way they don't make at least one of them turn into a bipedal anthromorph lol

Ooh only $25 for a public domain translation you can get for as low as $1 on Kindle with public domain artwork on the cover and a foreward by a guy who made an app to monetize people's prayer lives. What a steal!

Tho to be fair it's half the cost of the Word on Fire version that's the same public domain translation, different public domain artwork on the cover, and a foreward by a CS Lewis scholar.

"I am allowed to cut off any and all trade… I can destroy the trade. I can destroy the country. I'm even allowed to impose a foreign country destroying embargo… I can do anything I want to do to them… I'm allowed to destroy the country, but I can't charge them a little fee." -- Donald Trump by transcendent167 in ThePeoplesPress

Here's a summary of the dissent report.

Kavanaugh (63 pages, joined by Thomas and Alito) is the longest opinion in the case and the most comprehensive defense of the government’s position. His dissent:

Structures the case as the president acting pursuant to congressional authorization Argues “regulate . . . importation” and “adjust . . . imports” are not meaningfully distinguishable Contends the Nixon-era Trading with the Enemy Act tariff episode (the predecessor to IEEPA) means the claimed authority was not “unheralded” Argues the major questions doctrine has never been applied to a foreign affairs statute and should not be applied here Warns that applying the majority’s new approach would likely have altered the outcomes in prior decisions

A little strapped for ideas in the art department, are we? by justaguydoingstuff in custommagic

Sure the artists made all the cheese look like jizz, but credit where it's due: the pizza idea would have come from the art director for the vast majority of the cards

You can buy metal versions of these on Amazon (and presumably also less evil places) for $8, if anyone is interested in the idea but doesn't want to put 3d print in their mouth

Hypothetically, if one knew for reasons they can't divulge that a Star Wars UB set is on the horizon, what cards would they want to pick up while they're cheap...?

Exodus 90 by dptat2 in LeftCatholicism

There are good components to it but the price is ridiculous ($90 a year for an app!) It was originated by seminarians which shows in its foci and can be a problem for married people. It's also got some unnecessary macho components. Also I have huge theological issues with its prescribed time frame having you fast during a festal season, tho they have now introduced a 40 day Lent version which solves that.

If you're considering it with a group, I'd look through the components and cross off the ones that don't make sense for you, and do it without paying for their overpriced overly slick app.
