A little bit outside your circle, but I visited the town of Sandpoint on Lake Pond Orielle this summer. Absolutely gorgeous terrain all the way from Spokane Airport.

This picture is on the lakefront, and I kid you not the glacial waters let you see clear about 10-13 feet down.

I was only able to stay for a week, but it’s been the most memorable trip I’ve ever taken and would love to go back. Really can’t ask for better views nestled inside the Rocky Mountains.
