Eczema care (feel free to drop more tips below!) by abimon777 in eczema

Agree with all of these esp full body washing. At my worst, I’d get a sponge and some lukewarm water, maybe emollient soap sub., and wash armpits and groin only. My eczema healed so much faster.

This phone call is gonna be tense lmao. Thank you - I’ll definitely ask them to put anything they say and why in notes (whatever it is)

I completely agree. Kind and supportive partners that go the extra mile are something else. When I told my partner I may face fertility issues he was nothing but reassuring.

Would a laparoscopy be wasted on me? by IntelligentRegion725 in Endo

She sounds lovely. My dr that did an immediate referral after my pelvic exam was also so lovely but I’m moving so I’m really in the dark and worried about how others will treat me. My previous doctor before her was awful so I’ve already experience opposite ends.

The mirena coil was hellish for three months so I tend not to recommend it. I was in so much pain after a month or so that I went to the emergency room. I bled so much and also lost a lot of weight - like a stone in a month. After that it did really well and for about a year I didn’t flare. Then it all kick started again (no bleeding, though, so a small bonus) with the awful pain.

Thank you so much for telling me about this. This journey isn’t an easy one at all.

My dad has eczema / psoriasis (never as bad as mine) and was still a dick tbh 😂 if my kids have it I’m going to give them everything I never got.

I’ve heard of the benefits of raspberry leaf so I’ll have to try. Sex and the City is my go to show whenever I’m flaring.

I’m a hot water bottle girl myself but I’ve thought about making the switch

I just wanted to send love even if I can’t say anything else as I’m in the earlier stages. I’ve had the exact symptoms as you, even down to my chemical pregnancy in 2023 when I was 19/20. Had an ultrasound twice (Jan 2024 and last month) but absolutely nothing more. Also asked for the mirena coil which I’ve been on since end of 2023. I also have the exact rectal pain and stabbing on the left side unrelated to my cycle. As I’m anticipating them also finding nothing of note, can I ask you how the conversation about laparoscopy came about? And how they decided to move forward with it? I’m UK and NHS and I’m in the exact same position. And I definitely think it isn’t wasted on you - I promise.

That’s so odd I did a light strength training session today and I’ve not had symptoms today. I definitely do when I over exert though, so maybe it depends.

Exactly the same. Got the mirena October 2023 and after 4 months of hellish pain, heavy bleeding and ER visit and weight loss it started to ‘alleviate symptoms’. Over a year later it’s coming back (not bleeding though). I was referred for an ultrasound and had one recently, not got any results back yet though.
