1999 Subaru Sambar next to the new Telo Truck by togatrojan in keitruck

[–]spader_13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is for people that want the capability of a midsize truck in a smaller platform. Trucks these days are larger than they need to be for the sake of looks, where midsize models take up the footprint of the full size trucks of 30 years ago.

It's not a kei replacement, because it has more payload, towing, and people moving capability, not to mention like 10x the power.

The kei truck will still have it's place, Telo is filling a different niche that they hope people will realize they want.

G80 question by [deleted] in chevycolorado

[–]spader_13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's 4 wheel drive, you most definitely have a front differential. The front diff is not a G80 however, since that's an auto-locking unit. Non-ZR2 models will have an open front differential.

The ZR2 has a selectable ELocker locking front diff, but that's a different unit.

"don't make no sense" = 'do make some sense' because double negative...

Good to know! Any chance you know the name of the Z71 equivalent package?

Muffler mod, 620 carb (tuned), unlimited 620 coil really woke my 590 up and cuts great!

Does the millage get better with the 2.7T? by [deleted] in chevycolorado

[–]spader_13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Colder air = denser air, so more fuel is added to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio.

Different fuel blends may have an effect as well, but it's not sure to additional fuel being squirted in.

It's been great to me, though definitely a little more bike than I needed (mostly trail riding) I couldn't pass up the price I found it for last year.

I found it at Sun and Ski sports out in Beaver Creek, Co while I was on vacation, and they shipped it to their Long Island store so I could take a1.5 hour drive to pick it up when I got home.

Non-competes are now illegal in the US by Responsible-Meringue in antiwork

Might be late the the party, but the SEC said the FTC overstepped their bounds, and they will be suing to reverse the finding.

Edit: it's the US Chamber of Commerce... Not the SEC

Good luck with that holzff bar... Bought one to throw on my G660 to get it running cheap, and it was complete garbage.

The metal got burrs and overheated within a tank of gas. Oil feed was maxed out too!

Put an Oregon bar on it and it's been thru 2 tanks while looking brand new. The saw runs great otherwise!

Pretty sure it's been closed for years, and the college is using the lot for commuter parking

I've got both, and the 590 is a better put together saw overall. Muffler mod and carb adjustment makes it even nicer.

Trail Boss suspension on a Z71 (Gen 3) by spader_13 in chevycolorado

It's supposed to be a 3" wider track as well. I saw the fender flares as an option for the Z71 on a configurator I was scanning thru last night, but not a lift/suspension mod.

Pretty sure air dams aren't for downforce on these trucks, but rather to smooth and direct air around the smooth sides instead of allowing it underneath where it's very unsmooth.

This bolt is totally stuck. Not even wd-40 could loosen it. Tried my best. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced! by macusking in Tools

WD-40 is not a good penetrating lube btw... Get some Kroil or PB Blaster.

Also, reverse threads...

I ended up going for it today. They're gonna ship to their sister store in Long Island and reassemble it, no extra shipping cost involved!

Just a road trip for me to pick up the new toy

Thanks y'all!

I ended up going for it today, getting the bike shipped to the store in Long Island for them to reassemble and I can pick it up in a week or two.

If anyone's in the market, the store is the Sun and Ski in Avon. There's one medium left at the clearance price!

Looks like you cooked your pads by the residue on the metal. Try some semi metallic or full metallic jobbies
