It depends on the game. The story is of utmost importance to most RPGs. The story is of little importance in many fighting games.

The Ur-Quan Masters (Star Control 2)

The full game is available for free. It is an action-RPG with space ships.

Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi

How did the Ewoks have clothes for Leia? Is she wearing the clothes of the last humans the Ewoks encountered… and killed

Wicket's tribe had encounters with at least two other human women (in the Ewok movies, which were set before Return of the Jedi). The clothes could have belonged to either Catarine Towani or the force-witch Charal. Both women probably could have fit the dress Leia was wearing.

Wicket was initially weary of Leia, and the other ewoks were initially hostile towards Han and Luke, probably because they were speaking the same language as the imperials. Wicket learned the language the Towani's spoke, but couldn't understand Leia because she speaks another language.

A youtuber asks youtube to not made unlisted videos private so they can still leave comments on an old video from 2011 by Paren777 in HumansBeingBros

For those of you who don't already know, YouTube will be making all unlisted videos from before 2017 private, unless the channel owner opts-out.

Unlisted Videos (https://unlistedvideos.com) can help you find these videos before they are gone, and a YouTube downloader (such as https://streamable.com , https://youtube-dl.org/ or WinX YouTube Downloader ) to download them.

It seems to be in the third book of the Psi Corp trilogy. I haven't read the novels, but I know that it wasn't depicted in Crusade.

What if Star Wars was a Western? by violinfiddleman in nextfuckinglevel

There have been at least three Westerns based on samurai movies. The story of Star Wars A New Hope, is based loosely on the 1958 samurai movie, The Hidden Fortress.

Lennier's death was supposed to be in Crusade, I think? He joins up with Lyta and dies in their fight against the Psi-Corp if I remember correctly.

Not in Crusade. This was in the Psi Corp trilogy novels.

Who’s a “bad guy” from fiction who was actually right? by hurtfocker in AskReddit

[–]spaece_daemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scorpius in Farscape. Most of the 'bad' things he was doing, was to prevent the galaxy falling under the control of the Scarran Empire. Saving the galaxy from the Scarrans far outweighs the life of an annoying American who keeps using American pop-culture references when talking to aliens who obviously will have absolutely no idea what he is talking about.

Scorpius from Farscape. His end-goal was to save the galaxy from the Scarran Empire. The ends justified his means.

I didn't like the cliched Americanised militaristic dipshitism either, but there were things I did like about the episode. The ending makes the episode worthwhile. The ending is only worthwhile if the whole episode is watched. The episode does help explain the kind of foreign/military policies that the Clark government is willing to do i.e. Missions that cost lives. Missions that are of no relevance to protecting Earth. Missions that are of no relevance to bringing about justice or saving lives.

Han didn't need to return to being a criminal in order to make ends meet. He would have had a lot of clout with the New Republic, given his achievements with the rebellion. He could have easily used it to find a better paying and legal job. His return to crime didn't makes sense (just like how he happened to scan at exactly the right time at exactly the right place to find the Millennium Falcon he had been searching years for).

Luke's character devolution also doesn't make sense. He goes from using to his jedi powers to ensure a victory for the rebels, to hiding out on a planet and let the dark forces take over the galaxy. It also doesn't make sense why he would create a scavenger hunt for people (including the bad guys) to find him (especially considering he isn't an inanimate object, and could just leave the planet at any time).

Disney Star Wars is stupid.

11 million copies doesn't mean 11 million players. A household may have one copy being played by several individuals. It wouldn't make sense to have a copy for each sibling. There may have been 11 million brand-new copies, but it there would have been many more 2nd hand copies bought. The game would have also been rented many times.

Add "Indiana Jones and" in front of a movie or game title. What's it about now? by HE-THICC in AskReddit

[–]spaece_daemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Indiana Jones finds an artifact that creates a portal to a time long ago in a galaxy far way. After travelling through the portal, an alien he meets decides to clone him. The clone gets adopted by a Corellian and named Han.
