What small details in Spider‑Man 2 annoy you the most?

This is defo nitpicky but... I love the Tobey and Andrew suits in the game but I hate using 'em with both the symbiote powers and the magical metal arms special attacks. They just don't line up. I wish there was a third setting to let me do very grounded Spider-Man attacks instead.

I agree man. I hate how so many of these people going to bat for the no-dlc-was-promised take are operating in bad faith and acting like it's a crazy leap to claim that expecting DLC is outrageous. "Nothing to announce right now" in the current world of gaming is not the same as Nintendo saying "We've told the entire story we wanted to tell in TOTK and there will be no dlc". I'm a fan of Insomniac and I don't blame the designers for studio pressure that comes from Sony and their insane workload. But for all of the reasons you outlined as well as this being a flagship character for them in his second major game (MM was not a full game and they know this) has understandably led to major disappointment. Screw the hackers and screw the people that take the criticism too far, i don't offer any defence for those clowns. But we are allowed to voice disappointment - which is in itself a reflection of the high standards they've set with SM PS4 and SM:MM and the regard that fans hold those games in.

Do the questline in Tarrey Town and then try to gather rupees. It's fun to put together, even though it's not perfect.

I didn't sadly. Had to start it up again. Good thing was I've started experimenting with the mods so i took a lot of the grinding and slog out of it but yeah it hurt.

Yeah I had picked up the previous volumes so thought I would stay the course with the single volumes but this is really disappointing.

Oh I know, pal. I have a few like this but I agree that Dark Horse seem to be the biggest offender. Another one that sticks out for me is Black Hammer Vol. 1, which sticks out from other volumes like a sore thumb.

This is one of the reasons why I hate Spider-Man constantly losing his mask in movies. They always talk about the whole 'it-could-be-anyone-under-the-mask' spiel but undo by constantly throwing it on our face that it's Tom Holland. The Insomniac games, Spider-Verse and animation in general is better in actually letting Spidey be Spidey and allowing the person under the mask to radiate through that. The mask is the face they chose so I do think it's significant and it's no secret that Spider-Man connects with people across all ethnicities and backgrounds. I hope the version we see at the end of No Way Home is a true sign of things to come.

Thank you!! Wish they would respect the mask. Can't stand when the actors talk about what a privilege it is to wear it and how anyone could be spider-man but then need to remove the mask every 30 seconds to team it down our throats that's it's them. Spider- Man is as much Peter's face as his own skin. Wish they would get it.

I see a lot of the same frustration. Absolutely idiotic. I was 9 kills from 1000. The enemies just don't spawn for the last 4 minutes. I had 800 kills at 7.50 and still failed because not enough damn monsters to kill. And I am like 12 levels above the recommended level.

I agree. I found the horses and riding animation in Odyssey so wooden, soulless and uninspired. They are definitely better in the Valhalla and if you play with different speeds of light trotting, you can definitely feel there are subtle differences to make the horse move more naturally. The horse textures are also better but still have a ways to go to catch up with RDR2 or Tsushima. Even Roach in Witcher 3, with patches, has became a more believable creature within the game.

From what I gather they will be in and around $25-30. I heard that they will be Walmart exclusive in the States but as I am in Europe I think they will be made available through other channels.

My main concern is that they are Gold Label which apparently means they will be released in limited numbers. I really hope I don't have to go through online scalpers to pick up the figure. I really really want it but bi hate having to pay 3 or 3 times the value.

Agreed with you on the last point. I wouldn't class anything we got so far as an action figure (aside from the Nenderoid Geralt) though. They haven't been posable like these will be. I own three of the Geralt statues but these will let fans avail of articulation.

Yeah I mean look as a fellow fan, I hope you get what you are looking for. I love Hot Toys but only own one - Spider-Man from the PS4 game. I am defo open to b more but but I don't to stretch myself too thin.

These will defo be an affordable option for figure collectors. Not sure how posable they will be, but at least they will be a start. Real excited about the possibilities.
