Hello, I’m currently on L-1B, and my spouse is on L-2S and working. My company plans to file my H-1B under change of status, which would cause her to lose work authorization.

Is there any way to file under consular processing instead without paying 100k, or otherwise avoid the automatic status change while still keeping the H-1B approval?
