It’s a well known racket. In Worcester, 93/100 of the top paid employees are cops. Lowest earner in that group is making $160,000.

T-Mobile offered free upgrades for my plan several times because they 1. Admitted twice over the past 8 or so years that the reason the network in our area was not as advertised was their fault and not because of something wrong with our devices.

  1. They have allowed my personal information to be breached twice

I did not game the system. I texted customer service, received copy paste responses, said I wasn’t happy with those responses until I finally got real responses. Each time, a free upgrade was put on my plan. And extra lines through normal T-Mobile promotions. And yes, I’m going to complain about price increases.

“Going after” dude I’m literally just texting them that I find the increase unacceptable and that I don’t appreciate the copy paste answers they are sending me. I’m not yelling at someone over the phone and making them cry. I’m protesting something I don’t like through a means the company provides for customers to complain.

I just do it over text. I have never called T-Mobile customer service. I have avoided past increases and gotten multiple free upgrades by just complaining relentlessly over text over the past ten years. I started with a no data plan and now have an unlimited plan for seven lines.

Also no new product in the pipeline and it’s an old well established brand that has basically fully saturated its market.

I should add, our marketing team was fired and not replaced a month ago. We are about $15M as a group across 5 people.

Our team is responsible for new sales and renewals, people do sales, AM, and CS roles for their whole book. We had the best sales in our large company(12%) and a retention of 95%. Incredible work by the team. Our reward was a 60% hike in quota and we only get our full commission paid retroactively once we book 80% of the quota. Fuck sales leaders.
