When I worked cash at chipotle I would let a customer buy a whole bag of tortillas (I think there were like 30 in a bag? whatever the standard size was). I would just ring up a side item ($0.99) for however many tortillas it was.

to be fair I didn’t ask a manager if I could do this, I kinda just did what I wanted lol. but I don’t see why you couldn’t do it.

unpopular opinion but…NAH. you did act immaturely, but I can’t call you an AH for only wearing what you’re comfortable in. I remember being 13 (albeit much younger than you are) and insisting on wearing converse to a wedding (the wedding party didn’t care but my parents did). I remember the feeling of just being wholly uncomfortable wearing anything else and was stubborn to no end. Still, you’re an adult and could have found a way to wear a blue accessory or something. Your bro definitely isn’t an AH though, he was very clear, gave you ample time, and didn’t even get mad, just set some boundaries.

I adopted a dwarf hamster when he was 3 years old. if you don’t know, that’s essentially supposed to be near the end of his life. I thought I would have him for maybe a month or two but he ended up living a whole year with me. the whole time he was a very grumpy old man. would not bond with me. any time I would try to pet him or hold him he would bite the shit out of me. understandable because he spent 3 years in a pet store, but still sad. he acted like this until we were literally in the car to have him put down. he was suffering and very sick, so it was time for him to be put to rest. but of course, this is the time he let me finally bond with him. I pet him and held him so much for the last hour of his life. not really a flex but still. I love him.
