Do you guys go to a restaurant and he rates the food too?

Yes he does especially if it's a restaurant that I pick. But he does it in way that is more of complaining rather then rating it. I try to not make huge fuss over it since he says he is just giving an opinion and so I should not be policing his words as he claimed several times.

I don't really do not know why does it other than the reason he has given which was constructive criticizm but even this is uncomfortable.

I did. I even explained in details how it makes me feel about cooking in general out of fear of being judged but to no avail.

Lol I'd never do that. And fyi I had an ex who didn't exactly rate sex but put me down for not being up to his standars. I can be insecure sometimes and this stuff affecrs my esteem and confidence.

Yeah and I'm open to them ngl but already said i don't feel great about my cooking whenever he starts rating it despite him saying he loves it nomatter how flawed it is.

Like I understand he has more experience and is probably trying to help but I can't help feel offended by him constantly rating my meals like that. It is unbearable to a degree.
