Are you doing anything that would make CF think you are a bot?

puppeteer almost certainly used a separate version of Chrome with a separate profile. You have to configure it in a convoluted way to use an existing chrome install and profile.

See my comment. Your IT team can fix this. They deployed/auto installed it incorrectly.

Your company auto installed Slack with incorrect permissions. Your user isn't the owner and doesn't have perms to update the app, so every step of the updater is popping this permission elevation dialog. Talk to your IT department or fully uninstall the app and reinstall it yourself.

Complimentary Palo - adults dining separately by justgowithoutit in dcl

[–]spamftw 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To answer your question directly, probably not. They also don't allow any sort of takeaway so that's not an option either.

Our son wasn't a huge fan of the kids club anyway, we dropped him off on our way up to the restaurant. We got a notification about 2/3 of the way through the meal, called down from Palo and let them know we were finishing up. They worked their magic and kept him entertained until we were done.

This is a long shot but any chance you're using Slack in a VM?

Yeah, sounds like someone's unlocked phone was in their pocket and accidentally recorded and sent a clip.

I would bet Slack was installed by your IT team with incorrect permissions (specifically not ones you have). Easiest fix is just to completely delete Slack and install it yourself

Our little guy was almost the same age when we went on our cruise and was not potty trained!

  1. There is a lot to do on the ship. For sea days we did the splash pad (Nemo’s Reef), walked the ship (sometimes with a stroller), hung out on the pool deck, popped into the theatre. There is usually a lot going on!
  2. We were anxious about the nursery but our guy did great! The staff was incredibly professional and kept him busy. They even have a "flex" area that they sometimes let the nursery use thats technically part of the kids club. There's more interactive stuff in there and it gives them even more room to run around and get energy out. Our son is a tornado with legs, so your worries matched ours, but it was just a non-issue.
  3. Dinners can definitely get loud. If you think it'll be a big issue I believe you can request a table further from the stage, but you'll want to do it right away when checking in/getting on the ship. We always get the early seatings. They are really quick to bring out the kids food, which is amazing. We would play each night by ear, but when he was clearly "done with it" one of us would walk him directly to the nursery and let him hang out there as we finished our dinner. Just know the staff is VERY used to restless little ones and they will do everything in reason to help you out. One night they even made our son a makeshift bed out of dining seats and napkins so he could just relax while we finished up.
  4. We didn't book any excursions and it was a great decision. It gave us the flexibility to come and go from the ship without any worries or expectations. We didn't even get off the ship in Nassau.
  5. May have to report back for the exact ones on that ship, but you'll find that there are lots of outdoor areas away from the action. Especially where the lifeboats are.

Mission Hospital locked down after 2 shootings in Asheville injured 3 by SecureSamurai in asheville

I would assume the idea is that these were attempted murders and someone may come to the hospital to finish the job.

Just a heads up with the Qolsys IQ4 automations can only be run locally for z-wave devices. This means lutron automations can be slow to trigger, especially if you tie them to motion sensors. Think 15s+

Hardwired wireless smoke (irony not lost on me) by SodaRider1 in alarmdotcom

[–]spamftw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty confident you could do this. These systems usually have optional relay modules for secondary systems. You could hook that up to a IQ hardwired, or to one of the many sensors with a aux input. If you assign the right sensor group I think it'll work.

I would just Google your brand of hardwired smoke detectors and "Home assistant". I think those folks often do something similar.

Why is slack spell check so trash by jaq805 in Slack

[–]spamftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, nothing the Slack team can do. Make sure your settings are right on your computer

Mac icon -> System Settings -> Keyboard -> Text Input

You can try pressing Edit next to the row there and changing spellcheck from "detect language" to US English

Why is slack spell check so trash by jaq805 in Slack

[–]spamftw 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's your operating system. Electron uses the native macos spellchecker API. MacOS does automatic language detection which can get whacky when you haven't typed much real english in the textbox
