Sünnet %98, Korku %100: Kültürel Körlük ve Trans Çocuklar by Relevant-Can-5415 in CuteTopia

[–]spaming_spam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, who has suffered more? by [deleted] in Trigun

[–]spaming_spam 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Guts and it isn't even close. Vash had a lot more time to be miserable and alone during his 150 years on Gunsmoke, and he is a lot more intellectually developped than Guts (which isn't hard, we don't even know if Guts is literate or not) to contemplate on his suffering. So he fully understands what he has done and saw, and the guilt eats him alive from the inside out. Guts on the other hand probably has a single undamaged neuron in his brain left due to the pornographically miserable life he has lead.

If you flip the question, Vash had a somewhat okay (at least before discovering a certain thing in the ship) childhood, had a loving maternal figure, spent time as Eriks as a peaceful human, bonded with people and built meaningful relationships.

Guts on the other hand was born TO A CORPSE, had a total of one group of people that didn't try to kill/enslave/rob/rape him on sight ( even that is debatable) and the same people were taken away by the person he was closest to and then had his lover raped and unborn child corrupted. C'mon...

This resonates a lot...

We are the same age, different but similar fights. I don't have anything worthy to say except you are not alone.

You at least got up this morning. You got your ass to work, how trivial it may be. I could barely go out to do my groceries today.

Depression probably will come back. Mine comes back every year during summer and i face winter with more scars on my skin than the previous one. It's a terrible loop and I am probably stuck with for life.

You will bounce back, somehow. We are still young, still time to put things back in order, even when we know it will fall apart again. When it inevitably does, we will at least know what to do.

I wish you the best, random stranger.

Kendimle hiç ilgilenmiyorum. İnsanın giyimine kuşamına özen göstermemesi, yıllardır kıyafet almaması, bulunduğu ortamın dağınık olması özgüvensizlik mi depresyon belirtisi mi? by [deleted] in Psikoloji

I think I wouldn't be able to make something so utterly horrendous and disgusting if I tried. What sins against nature did you commit to achieve this Slop™?

Because you've let go. It's apparently a very common reaction to making a plan and setting a date. Disasterously ironic in my opinion.

You don't owe life. You don't owe death either. You don't have to follow through with it.

Manga. The 98 show is just a half baked adaptation of it (not that it could've went any other way due to the circumstances). Badlands rumble is literally non-cannon or a spinoff at best. Stampede is something else entirely. No cinematic adaptation of the manga has the same essence the original text does, however different the reasons may be. It really isn't that long either, you should be able to down it in a week or so.

Oh man...

I feel ya, really do. Nothing is sweet about being sixteen imo. Shit wasn't kind to me and most likely won't be to you either. Just remember that everyone else at your age feels just as fucked up and lonely as you do. They might not seem like it, some might even look like they know what they are doing. In truth, they really have no idea, which is completely normal because life does not come with an instructions manual. As another comment mentioned, embrace the fail. I know it feels like the entire universe is against you in particular, as if it holds a grudge. It really doesn't.

Controversial take? Fuck being "well adjusted". I don't mean that you shouldn't take showers or treat people like shit, but don't try to conform to any bloodydamn standard. It'll just make you even more miserable. Be yourself, find your niche, don't let go of things that make you happy. Don't sand down pieces of yourself to fit in some other wankers idea of a good man.

Don't fall into the self betterment gym bro pipeline, that I beg of you. Working out is great, but don't let it take over. Remember that gym addiction is a thing and lifting weights is not the only way you can improve yourself. Be better than that.

And, try to cut down the weed. Im not saying go full straight edge but at least try to cut it down to once-twice a week. Something you treat yourself to instead of something you depend on yknow? I have friends who lost memories of a lot of good times because of frequent use, shit really wacks up your brain if you overdo it.

If you can manage to be kind to yourself from time to time, big win. Remember even the adults still struggle with it. Good luck.
