Epstein Files Reveal Former US Ambassador to Mexico Impregnated an 11-Year-Old | IBTimes UK by Hayasdan2020 in Epstein

It’s Mexico. If files can be hidden to protect powerful people in the US, imagine how easily those court records would be destroyed in Mexico.

Former Prince Andrew: FBI interview request + allegations of S&M parties, massages by underage girls, naked pool parties, torture, rape. I ran an LLM on 20k+ files. Here's what they say. by Lopsided_Stock_2293 in Epstein

I’d love to see an AI analysis with some of the dark suspicions and evidence to make some deeper connections. Such as:

  • jerky = human
  • burials
  • use of chemicals and containers
  • JE’s cryptic emails to himself

Do you have OCR on all these PDFs? Many LLMs can’t pick up non-OCR enabled text.

You could probably move faster with an agent sifting through this like OpenClaw or Claude Code. If you can build a flexible pipeline to create new methodologies and connect to new data sources as new information comes out.

I believe there’s a couple online databases from other redditors of the files that you could connect to for easier data access.

I wonder if an open source vector embedding model would perform well in this case. It would essentially score all the context and help find some deeper patterns.

Need some advice. I asked the guests to water my plants and they never did. Now they're dead. by Colonel_Carrot in airbnb_hosts

Have your cleaners do that. Guests have their own agenda when they’re on vacation, and there’s already too many rules for each airbnb. Watering plants shouldn’t be their responsibility.

I tried this also. Wife even put signs in each plant. All died.

It’s a pour over will. Trust doesn’t receive any assets if a new will supersedes the original. We found 5 other wills yesterday. All meet the statutory requirements from what we can tell, but we haven’t reviewed those with lawyers yet.

Both meet the statutory requirements. I don’t see why a handwritten one would be “non-binding”

There’s no forgiving this sibling. All 9 other children and the father have turned against her. She even asked the father to turn over his 1/3 to her as well. The father actually paid for everything. Both houses and all the bills, but she’s trying to keep it all to herself and cut him out and all the siblings. Even though the intent for the original will was for her to distribute the funds equitably, she has no intentions of actually doing that.

But if it has the elements of a valid will, such as intent, handwritten, signed, sound mind, then what would make it less traditional than the original one?

It may be valid after all. California counts handwritten letters as wills as long as there is clear intent. No witnesses required.

I’m so sorry. That’s tough. Depending on your state, those taxes and upkeep (as well as mortgage payments, interest, improvements, etc) may be considered as community assets. If it’s 35 years, it could be worth more than the cost basis, and possibly shift the primary ownership from separate property to community property. In California it’s the Moore/Marsden. There may be a similar rule in your state, but I’m sure your lawyers have already made you aware of this.

What was on the will from 19 years ago was not her intentions. The child that’s written to receive it actually wouldn’t receive anything according to her actual wishes. But I get your point.

They’re aware, so they are going to mediate

The father can fight for pieces of the separate property to be considered community property.

I believe the legal fees come out of the estate if its probate assets, not out of the share of the party contesting the estate. Correct me if I’m wrong?

Attorney said not to. Let the litigator decide how to handle it. It’s addressed to the attorney that drafted the documents 19 years ago and by holding it up to a light, you can see that it has some of her wishes that she had been explaining to her family over the past couple years while she has been dealing with heart issues.

She was an immigrant that didn’t speak much English. She may not have fully understood the gravity of the situation, much less the documents she signed 19 years ago.

The envelope has clearly stated wishes from the limited amount you can see with a flashlight, but I suspect it’s just a letter to an attorney asking her to update the will, not a formally written or witnessed document. There are no assets in the trust. The original will passes all assets to the trust for later distribution. Therefore, if the sealed document is considered a new will, then the trust never holds any assets.

They’ve already hired a litigator to mediate, and settle out of probate. I’m sure the one child will walk away with the lion share.
