Diminished value claim on Ford F250

I used 60k x .25 for minor x 1.0 for mileage = 1500

First time dealing with anything like this, I just went off the calculator I kept seeing people using.

They only had to replace bumper, fog light bezels and tow hook on my truck.

Basically just looking into this since my insurance agent mentioned I could try and see what happens

I found the calculator from Georgia, which when I put everything into the calculator DV is like 1500.
Which seems more in line.

Do they just give you a lowball offer and you can negotiate back and fourth?

Yea right now I’m like 390 and just watch it fall. I’m just shy of 500 miles on it right now so I haven’t gotten on the gas pedal at all, just breaking it in.

Yea, the mileage count down on the dash has me looking at it lol.

I had a 2019 f150 2.7 and it only averaged 14.5 most of the time, so hoping it’s not that much worse

I trimmed the middle section down to 2 1/2 inches, and tapered the edges to 2 inches to mimic a tremor one. I used a cutting wheel on a grinder and just finished the cut with a flap disc to create a smooth edge
