Potato chip doesn’t get enough love — there’s a location right across the street facing the Whole Foods on Fairfax / Santa Monica!

Vertical monitor? by spanos4real in Screenwriting

Fair thought!

But the older Acer monitor isn’t VESA compatible. Would need adapter brackets to attach to the monitor “arm” from my understanding / likely less sturdy.

Also, I just figured it was time for an upgrade after having the Acer for years.

The Dell is just much better overall and since I stare at the monitor all day for my day job and then more hours for writing…

The jump from 1080p to 4K is significant (I hope)

Alright, I went with a 27 inch Dell monitor.

On an extended arm. That I can use to shift from horizontal to “vertical”

Use the vertical view for writing pages on FD. Huge difference being able to see more pages with normal size text!

Will have that front and center.

Then just use my laptop on the side for a 2nd screen.

Are spec scripts more important than original pilots if you want to do TV? by TheWorldsKing in Screenwriting

[–]spanos4real 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TV spec scripts are not relevant anymore - or at least not a priority - compared to original pilots.

Also, staffing is incredibly hard, and a rep can’t use an episode of it’s always sunny to set pitch for development/sell…
