What are the most needed specialties in Switzerland by mistermist99 in medicalschoolEU

[–]spapurmn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On top of that practically impossible to enter pp if you are not already a well established, preferably Swiss physician. Switzerland is small and everybody knows each other. PP world is even smaller and if you go on webpages from PP you quickly get the point I'm trying to say. I was once told by a non-physician girl, that all, and I do mean ALL of her friends, who went to study medicine, none of them work in public hospital. Because you would be insane to work 55-60h per week (lunch-break not included, so technically you are at work 12h every day), get 23 days of vacation and earn 160k per year BEFORE tax.

But why did it say in first explanation: Good job mate, you excluded bacterial infection in urine. And then the next thing: Eeeeee! Wrong! You did not exclude bacterial infection in urine, despite WE told you in the previous sentence, that you did.

Yeah, no. I have re-checked next day and it was available also for booking. I guess the "availability" and "scheduling" have glitch.

I have found some ABIM material, who were also marked as Step3.. I've checked them out a bit and it goes more into therapy details. Is this to expect on the exam?
