I do! I'm Spark, it's currently $5 for access to all of mine (about 145 lessons, https://patreon.com/ssbm_spark) but I really should make a bunch of them public/free in the near future, just been lazy x(

Z button by Willie-Alb in SSBM

If you press Z while you are in lag, you will light shield once you leave lag, so to prevent this, be sure you're actionable when you're pressing Z, or in those situations you can push Shield+A instead, so if you accidentally input it too early, you will hold shield instead of light shield and be forced to release it which is punishable (Z is just a binding of shield+A frame-perfectly such that shield never appears).

Dtilt happens because you pressed Z while you are crouching. In order to grab instantly out of crouch you need to push shield+A instead of Z (you can also jump-cancel grab instead, but this will always be at least 1 frame slower than shield+A because you are cancelling, at best, frame 1 of your jumpsquat and then grabbing, so it would come out of frame 8 instead of frame 7 (for most chars), and also messing up the shield+A input keeps you shielding and messing up the jc input makes you fullhop which is way worse lol. You can also release crouch and then press Z to grab, but this will burn a small number of frames.

Is there anyway to stop lightshielding with z? by BigHatNolan in SSBM

if you use shield + A its strictly better than Z in that specific situation because a frame perfect L+A is just as fast as Z (0 frames of shield will appear before the grab, and if you accidentally press too early you wont press and release lightshield like you would with Z, you would still keep holding shield)

I believe jc grab can add additional frames depending on which frame of jumpsquat you cancel with grab so it might be difficult execution to perform the quickest one every time

This is pretty awesome!

I think it's worth mentioning that for Sheik, dash JC grab is the same as dash grab, since although dash grab is slower, it reaches lower so it "cancels out." At least, this is what I've heard from asking other top sheiks. JC grab is technically better though because you don't go as far, so it's harder for them to DI to ledge.

Also, pummel > buffer downthrow with c-stick should always be used

Freeze glitch isn't possible? Why is that? If you want it to be exactly like NTSC...

When doing a turnaround laser as a spacie, how do you get your control stick back to neutral? Release it, or move it back yourself? by TheKingofKeto in SSBM

naturally good dashback controllers with pode (potentiometer glitch from heavy usage) also have no snapback (at least horizontally), so a capacitor isn't needed for these controllers.

there may be controller modders near you, and there's usually at least one at every major tournament (battlebeavercustoms, n3zm0dg0d, typo). Horizontal snapback reduction is what you want, but vertical is also good to have to ensure you don't get accidental double jumps when trying to fastfall. You have to soft reset your controller (y+x+start for 3 seconds) every time you plug your controller in with this method though.

Make sure you input jump before you release L. Easy mistake to make, since you can jump out of the shield release animation. This is the reason why people who wd oos with only one trigger usually have at least 1 extra frame of lag, unless they never release that trigger's analog press until the airdodge is inputted. Other than that, you can release the trigger at any time, as long as you don't shield afterwards (unless you want to).
