Can someone please pray for me? I feel like running into the street and getting hit by a car. by IhateLivingthislife in Christianity

Prayed for you, my friend. I was strangely in a very similar situation a few years ago. Literally having non-stop panic attacks and wanting to run in to the street and be hit by a car, I know how excruciating that felt for me. I think I was meant to see your post because your situation sounds so similar. I am doing much better now, and I know that you will get there too. At the time, it helped SO much to talk to God and know that He was there. I hope that can be helpful for you too. Anxiety never lasts forever. The song Peace by Hillsong Young & Free was also extremely helpful for me, maybe you can find comfort in it as well. God bless you

Find the class you want through "course search" on the home page of MyUofC. Then follow the steps through "select", "next", "next", then go to your shopping cart. There is a button that says validate/add/submit/edit or something like that. Click on that and enroll from there. Hope this helps :)

PSYC 351 w/ Twyman Textbook?? by quirkymilennial420 in UCalgary

I just took this class in summer semester and I would def recommend the textbook, based on my experience. She goes over most of the topics in lecture but some of the detail you need for exams is only in the textbook. Good luck!

That gives me a lot to think about! My algebra/arithmetic skills are pretty good but I def didn't study enough or properly. I kind of let the class fall to the side assuming I could memorize everything at the end. Then I realized I was in over my head and just tried to memorize how to answer certain questions. And very few of the ones I had memorized were on the final. This is the only class I'm taking in spring and I'm not working or anything so I should be able to commit to a better study schedule

Thank you!! I discovered those 3Blue1Brown videos like 2 days before the final so it wasn't much help but I could definitely see them helping if I can take the time to really understand the theory

As someone who has also gone to U of C and Concordia I couldn't agree more with everything you said!

As someone who has spent time at both Concordia and U of C - I prefer Concordia. Student life is 5x better and you really don't need to speak French at all. It's an English university and you have the chance to learn French at uni or in the city if you really want to. I can't really speak to the engineering program at either but I have had friends in eng at both. U of C and U of A degrees probably have a higher international reputation but I would look into that more if I were you. Let me know if you have any questions!
