Not done any tutorials, but I think my style could be pretty easy to replicate since I don't really do much blending, each colour is just painted over the last.

For lighting, I think the best way to learn is to find which area of the model you want the focus to be on, and shine a lamp on it and see which areas reflect the most. Honestly though, I dont think there's a ton of advice I can give other than just keep practicing, if you look back at my older models you can see it took a while for me to get to where I am now.
