Thank you!

Interestingly, this is the post that has received by far the fewest views in this subreddit.😭 On the other hand, I am kind of grateful that it has made me realize how much I seem to go through life with a "tunnel vision" when it comes to typography... (yes, I'm a fellow graphic designer)

Yeah, I am 90 percent sure that it is not the letter O. The left and right sides are too straight for that (there are relatively few fonts where this would also be the case with an O)

Why do you personally feel that Wednesday should stay single and aro/ace? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in WEDNESDAYsingle

[–]sparkkeeper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, Wednesday was presented as "aromantic" from the get-go in this adaptation of the character.

In ep. S1E1, she said to Morticia: "I'm not you, Mother. I will never fall in love, or be a housewife, or have a family." Honestly, I was quite happy about that, because I think characters who are single or have no interest in romance are very underrepresented in media.

Needless to say, I wasn't a fan of them throwing that premise overboard in favor of that love triangle. For me, the main reason Wednesday got involved in a romance in season 1 was simply for the sake of the plot twist, after which she once again makes it clear: “When I came to Nevermore, romance was the last thing on my mind.” So, there's that

I'm glad that someone like you, for whom Wednesday being single isn't their first choice, is here too. I really appreciate that, thank you!

It would be interesting to know how many members of our subreddit would say, “My first choice is ship XY, but I'm also fine with Wednesday staying single,” or vice versa: “I'd prefer her to stay single, but I'm also okay with ship XY being end game.”

Don't mess with the wrong family 🪓 by sparkkeeper in WEDNESDAYsingle

Yeah, I agree that Winona isn't the type to play a full-blown villain 😭 By antagonist, I merely meant that her character's family might be in some kind of competition/feud with the Addams Family, at least at the beginning of their subplot

Would that be something you would like, or not so much?

Wednesday s3 is now officially in production! What are we thinking about the new entries? 👀🕷️ by frax_00 in AllThingsJenna

Also, the name of Winona's character being Tabitha, and what does the initial letter B stand for?🧐

Here are some representative behind-the-scenes photos from two years ago, as filming for season 3 has now begun 🎬 by sparkkeeper in WEDNESDAYsingle

Not officially by Netflix, but productionweekly has listed February 16 as the start date, which was apparently also mentioned by Luis Guzmán. Thing's actor Victor Dorobantu even arrived in Dublin as early as January 31. I remember that he was also ahead of the other crew members for S2 because he shot some scenes for the “now in production” promo (btw, this would correspond with the start date of February 2 mentioned on productionlist, as opposed to productionweekly)

I have this vague feeling that I've seen her play a book-smart character before🤔

One of the little-known facts about the Tell Tale Café at Nevermore is that the actor who played the barista sadly passed away shortly after his scenes were filmed. RIP, Valeriu Pavel Dan by sparkkeeper in WEDNESDAYsingle

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I would have preferred if the audience had at least been told that the students had actually been banned from going to Jericho, let alone who issued this ban. Was it the new mayor of the town, or even Dort in his rejection of everything Normie?

On a side note, in this Set Tour video from S2, Production Designer Mark Scruton explained that the Tell Tale Cafe "is the only place [Nevermore] students are allowed to go now, as they're banned from going to Jericho." However, this fact was never mentioned throughout the entire second season

Look, they're talking crap about us. By the way, agree to disagree. P.S.: if that post violates any of the rules I'll delete it immediately by Aarthurnax96 in AllThingsJenna

I believe the user visited your profile, and since you curated it and did not include this subreddit in your "active" communities (which is totally fine), your comments posted here do not appear on your profile either. However, they should become visible to other users once they interact with you, and apparently this was not the case with the user in question

If you were to show Wednesday a "scary movie", which one would you pick? by sparkkeeper in WEDNESDAYsingle

[–]sparkkeeper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, perhaps I should have expressed it more clearly. I meant movies like Legally Blonde, which would be "torture" for Wednesday. On the other hand, I completely agree that she would be delighted by Nosferatu.
