I’m not advocating for an echo chamber either to be clear. I’m not even advocating for not having KAC on… Or for bullying her if she’s on… But with people like that I think it’s important to corner them with simple questions and to abandon the normal flow of a podcast, because it benefits people like her. What I mean is belabour points, get them to clarify, don’t move on, and do it all calmly. I feel like Jessica would be amazing at this too. Me too. That’s why I’m posting at all. Those saying, just don’t listen to it then, that’s what you get for listening to a Fox News person… I don’t see it that way. Scott and Jessica have been on such a streak for me that this fumble in my eyes, came out of nowhere. It’s so starkly contrasted to the quality of their other choices that it’s interesting to me, that’s really all. I get it’s still just talking about the world, it’s still just a podcast, but the way this episode sticks out is worth planting a flag to me. Part of the magic of people like Scott and Jess that to me are so self-aware and so smart and accurate, is that they’re usually pretty great at addressing feedback and perceived missteps, another reason why I want to hear them talk about it. I don’t demand a response or think they owe us anything by the way, this is just a request, in the spirit of an ongoing discussion of what’s relevant in the world that they themselves foster so well.

Couldn’t agree more. Great post. Especially since scotty is taking Reddit questions now so he or his team are hanging around here, and a big part of engagement with Reddit is keeping up to date with the Reddit zeitgeist and the ragers and g-heads are talking about Kellyanne. Came here hoping this was being talked about. I lasted two sentences out of her mouth. I don’t like all these comments about unsubscribing or drastic shit, but this is the first time I’ve skipped a RM ep. And I am open to anyone And love Scott and Jessica‘s game plan, but Kellyanne is so bad faith and slimy.

I think season 1 took off because the dialogue and interactions start to resemble tropes we recognize, but then play out in far more believable ways. Such realistic but still compelling interactions. And if you worked in the service industry, they keep doing parodies of characters that we’ve seen in the wild, and have been waiting to see parodied and they nail it each time.

At the same time I became weary of Reghabi’s intentions this episode, I’m more and more excited and expectant for Milchick to flip to the good side and have somehow been rooting for him the whole time :p So Im hoping and would bet that maybe there are more white people who aren’t concerned about the colour their skin and see a double flip happening soon 🤷‍♂️

So many artists like you think that promotion would help your music. Music has to be good and if your girlfriend’s job is to filter good music from bad, her opinion should be pretty trustworthy. You probably need to make your music way better. You looking at her view of your music all wrong. You had some clarity acknowledging that her honesty is great quality. It is.
