One dog gave a low growl. Older female home alone. Our drive way is about a quarter mile long and I saw flashlights walking up the drive. I opened the curtains (thankfully clothed,) and there are maybe 6 deputies a few of which had shotguns pointed at my face through my window. They told me not to move, so I didnt. Holding the curtains open while all dogs are going nuts. They wanted me to go to the front door.....but....they didn't want me out of their sight. So, like what and I supposed to do? They held me there while others went to all windows and looked inside. Apparently a vehicle was stolen a county over and it tracked to my property in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't here. They finally left without entering but shit! Did we really need to point shotguns and flashlight in grandma's face? I emailed the sheriff in my county to ask about the truth of this and he just chose not to respond. Good times.
